The Pokémon event was a huge mess, still never got paid for it. It wasn't even a sanctioned event, Pokémon has a lot of rules on where and who can run events, they require proper TOs that know how to use TOM (their software) and TPC (The Pokemon Company) is very, very selective on who gets to use their branding. It's crazy because TPCi outsources regionals (events with well over 5-7k competitors) to LARGE EVENT ORGANIZERS with a ton of experience only putting on these events. TPC handles all the internationals and world events since they can get over 10k people in attendance--but this crapfest couldn't handle a few hundred people which is pathetic for a Pokemon tournament.

As someone who has spent time with dustin personally, I can agree and vouch for everything that you’re saying. This entire video is 100% accurate.

I went to the event, and even did a KZfaq video of it. I'm sorry these unfortunate events happened, Sandwich. They never did that Yugioh Panel, when it was scheduled. At least I was able to meet the guests who would've been in that panel. There was no chairs for the panels, unfortunately. They announced on Social Media, that Tampa & Kentucky's TCG-CON events are now cancelled, as of April 24, 2024.

To be fair, he did tell you up front that he doesn't value your work and thought he can replace you easily for basically free. Which it sounds like he ended up doing.

I booked some of the celebrity guests into the show and Dustin burned us as well. For over $15k. I will be featuring Dustin and TCG-Con in an upcoming video. Stay tuned!

They cancelled their LA con, no big deal it happens. They never refunded us and kept our money and ghosted us after. I have invoices as proof, they stole over $570 venders beware.

Thanks for shearing about your experience and sorry to hear that you and others were treated terrible but now I'm glad I didn't finish paying for my booth. It kind of sucks because I was looking forward to going since this is the first I've came across TCG Con but when I saw that their website wasn't up anymore, I thought that was suspicious and then I started looking into it and came across this video I was like yup, I guess I not going in October lol.

Topped a modern event at the con never got paid or heard anything back from them. I will work this video through my friend groups and play groups and make sure none of my people support TCG ever again.

I was one of the cosplay guests and yeah… didn’t get paid and they’ve been ghosting. They did break silence a month ago to say they’re trying to sell the con to pay us 😅 it’s a mess.

I was an artist who purchased a corner section (2 tables). I couldn’t find anyone to help me locate my table as the map was shifted around during set up before I got there and without notice might I add. I FINALLY found my table after a good 45 mins of dragging my heavy cart of merchandise around. When I arrived the next day, there was a giant tent parked next to my corner table where no one could see my 2nd table! After standing in line to get some sort of help from the staff at the ticket area with my table unattended for about 15 mins (I work by myself), I was told to find Dustin. I walked around the convention MYSELF to find him. When I returned to the ticket line 10 mins later to let the staff know I couldn’t find him, they were finally able to call him over to which I explained to him that I paid for a corner table. He said he would talk to the vendor with the tent. NOTHING. I messaged him on FB and sent an email. NOTHING. I ended up speaking to my artist neighbors to adjust my tables to gain some space so traffic could see my merchandise properly. Thank goodness, I was able to finally able to get some traffic to my second table (no thanks for the TCG staff). The parking: they told me we would be reimbursed by that Sunday. NOTHING. I was quite shocked by this whole experience.

This makes me sad yet mad. I am very sad to hear this happen to you. I can not relate to this personally but I know several folks who’ve experienced these kind of mistreatment.

Omg the after-party was terrible. I paid $5 for a bottle of water. The music was terrible, and they forced 1/2 of the people to pay for parking.

Ya, tcg, con was a terrible thing. I was working with some of the talent and man I went above and beyond to help them out. Was told we would be compensated for parking and never was, talent said they would be paid if they didn't get a certain amount of money the ones I still talk to said they never got the money, others I know who worked there still didn't get money at all. Tbh Dustin just seemed super unprofessional and cared more about the hookers and blow he was doing on his time off.

It sucks you got burned in all of this. I went to the con the year it was in Louisville and thought it was awesome. Wish nothing but the best for those got screwed over.

This is wild insanity! I was a voice actor guest at the convention and personally had a fine time, but when I arrived, my table had not been set up either and they had to even figure out where to put me. So I noticed some scrambling; however, I just attributed that to a hectic week. No biggie. Hearing all this though! Holy hell, that’s unforgivable. Not paying all these people, not being curious and grateful for the staff/volunteers they had working under them, and especially having y’all drive home most likely with drugs is purely lacking any professionalism or courtesy. And yet they were able to fly out the strippers and party any moment they could. That’s fecked. And I remember seeing you running around and checking on things more than the actual convention owners. You worked your ass off for the con only for them to turn around and shit right into your cereal bowl. Devastated to hear this is how it’s been happening as TCG Con was one of the first conventions I was ever a guest at, but I can no longer support them. They never even offered to pay me an appearance fee or anything anyway, so no loss on my end. Pft even if they had offered to pay me I doubt I would have ever received it based on this.

This makes me appreciate David even more now.

I was a handler for one of the cosplayers there and we were promised a hotel room and a per diem for the parking and other expenses. When we arrived there was no hotel booked for us and after messaging them many times we still haven’t been reimbursed.

We were vendors at the recent Houston event. We weren't able to get a refund after months and months of messaging Dustin. So we had to pay people to run our booth for us so we wouldn't lose out on what we paid for tables. The whole event was a shit show. ALSO, this event is for kids to enjoy as well, and they had OnlyFans models half naked working and a Marijuana vendor literally selling bud at the event... lol. The whole event smelled like gas.

Hey man! I hate to hear about this i work along side the cEDH community in the TX region and we had many problems with them during the event and a lot of player have no been paid out. Dustin has been contacted by multiple people as time comes i know more people will speak out

I was one of the players in the CEDH tournament. After calling them out on the Facebook page they blocked me, and Dustin has been ignoring me for weeks now. I know of at least 9 or 10 players that have not relieved thier prizes in addition to the promised prizes being inaccurate.
