I'm not good at explaining in English. I rely on machine translation. "3.3v Power Issues" I'm putting tape on it as a solution to solve this problem. The link below provides an explanation. www.nickearl.net/2019/05/14/how-to-fix-3-3v-power-issues-with-hard-drives/

I know it has been 2 years but that shock absorber was leaking and needed replacement. The rotor was bad too.

Would you recommend a HC530 over HDD for daily life storage, considering emitted noise level? HC one has some scary 'click clack' sounds over time.
@46143 ай бұрын
I was also worried about that sound at first. I sometimes check the health status using CrystalDiskInfo, and the temperature is always 35-45 degrees and there are no errors. My HC530 has been used for 4937 hours and has been powered on 491 times. When recording, the microphone is held close to the main unit, so I think there is a lot of sound information. Currently it is stored in Antec P101 Silent and there is no noise or vibration when starting up. The same model will arrive within a few days, so I will shoot a similar video again.

Hello. Numerical information is quoted from Mazda's maintenance manual. The same description was also found on multiple personal blogs.

If the sensors are coked up bad then the entire inlet manifold system and egr needs to come off and be sonic cleaned and the inlet valve intakes blasted clean. Coked up sensors is just the tip of the iceberg. This needs to be done every 60k kms with these engines, as per the new service update release from Mazda in 2023. Congratulations all Mazda diesel engine owners, Mazda has made a lemon that you need to spend multiple thousands of dollars on every 60k kms.

Thank you for the blessing. Fortunately, in Japan, we can clean the intake pipe at several auto repair shops that are not Mazda. The cost is $400-800. The problem that occurs in the CX5 is not a unique problem. It is a problem that occurs in engines equipped with a direct injection system. The mechanic said that the CX5 should be blessed with the high engine mounting position, the large space around the intake pipe, and the good workability. He said that if the same work is done on a Toyota Hiace van, the work time and steps will increase and the cost will double. The soot problem has been significantly improved in the 2018 and later KF-type CX5, 190 horsepower model, and my car was not a problem even with 194,800 km. In my case, I live in Hokkaido, so the road conditions are similar to North America, so there are fewer soot problems. I will make a video of the intake pipe cleaning I did in April 2024 soon.

3/8 ratchet wrench with deep sockets 10mm to 19mm, cordless impact wrench (high torque) with a set of deep impact sockets 19mm to 35mm, 3/8 inch universal joint, 3/8 inch extension bar, and 18 inch 3/8 breaker bar. Torque wrench 1/2 inch (up to 200 ft-lbs), a wire brush, penetrant oil spray, gear grease, and a new hub assembly. You may need pliers and flat head screwdriver too.

This HDD seems to contain 4-5 disks. Booting will be slow. The transfer speed is over 150mb/s, so it's comfortable.

HC530 has buzz in idle (no seek operation clicks etc). But microphone was right next to hdd, so maybe it was just sensitive and picked up this sound. Do you hear this buzz from normal distance, can you hear it inside pc/nas? Thanks!
@4614 Жыл бұрын
I'm currently using the HC530 in a PC case. I've been using it for about 3 months, but I can't hear the seek sound at all.

Do you know of any good way of telling which bearing is going bad? Pretty sure it's one in the rear, but definitely can't tell which side yet.

@Manuelapv I think this is probably an early symptom. The wheel making the noise may be warm. In my car, even though I heard that noise, there was no wheel rattling.

Hi sir, hope you are doing great!!! Can you please tell me how many NM you applied on the bolts? It’s not clear in the video. Thanks in advance for your reply.

Hello and thanks for watching! . I thought that the torque of the oil drain plug was about 4kg-m. CX-5's rear diff drain plug torque seems to be 40-53 N·m.

Thank you for watching . The oil does not get clean easily, so I change it within 2-30000 km .One oil change efficiency is 40% . You're feeling the vibration at low revs, what's the vibration like at idle ? Did you use jaso LV 1 standard oil ?

Great video! What do you use to remove the bolts at the back? I tried a long extension with my impact wrench, but there are too many things in the way. I need something that can rotate and also withstand high torque. Do you have an suggestions?
@4614 Жыл бұрын
Thanks for watching! I used the following to remove it. · 3/8 Breaker Bar. Length is 10" (25cm). · 14mm normal socket and deep socket. · 3/8 universal ball joint. I used the Breaker Bar first when loosening the bolts. Then I used a ratchet or impact wrench. I couldn't use an impact wrench in some places.
