I sang this in my Hight School Choir. One of my favorites. I'm 63 now and have not heard this since 1972. It was just beautiful and made me cry. Thank You everyone for such a great performance! From Rodney Covenah former student Riverside Brookfield High School Riverside, Illinois. Paul H. Gilbert was the Choir Director. Loved it.

I sang on this recording as a Bass. We recorded this live in 1999 while touring the Netherlands. Dr. Floreen and Dr. McAdoo are outstanding! RIP David. Kudos to Frank for recording this!

I'm something for a specific song. When I was about 12, my church's youth division did a black light performance with this song (where we wore white gloves and turned the lights out to make ourselves look like disembodied hands, while we did hand gestures in tune with the songs). It was a song where a guy goes to the hospital, but he isn't able to be saved. He dies and goes to Heaven, where all his sorrows seem to be washed away in an instant. He meets God, who tells him that his loved ones are asking for him to be restored to life, but the main character (who never gets a name) begs to not be sent back to the mortal world. The chorus of the song ends in the lyric "And holy is your name," which is why I though I'd find the song here. But I didn't. Anyone know where I can find it?

Thank you for posting this. The Holy Rosary is a priceless gift and fount of graces. Also its meditations taught me the whole bible in the most intriguing way. For one example, the meditations of Our Lady as the Ark of the Covenant in the 1st Joyful Mystery can be followed from Exodus 25 right through to the last Glorious Mysteries of Revelation.

Very very well done. Perfect tempo (I've heard this done too slowly), and beautifully sung. I'm a choir director out in PDX, and I just posted a video of this song....just me and my guitar. Blessings on you in your ministry.

I am a member of the current Rutgers-Newark Chorus, and we are doing this song for the Spring 2015 concert. Come, listen, enjoy. I can only hope that we do justice to the piece as those who were on this recording. It's quite the legacy to live up to, I can assure you. For a number of reasons, this is a special concert, so if you can, buy a ticket (or a few) and come see us perform. Thank you.

Beautiful song. The melody sounds very similar to the Irish song "Will Ye Go, Lassie Go." I have been trying to form a Christian music band mixing Celtic melodies.

I can't even imagine how it would have felt to be in Armenia . . . but this video really gives you that "awed" feeling. What picturesque lighting. Thank you!

If you think that Armenians only cry, beware, the wrath comes afterwards. Occupiers always lose big time at the end.
