The main floor bathroom had what looked like burn marks, possibly from a curling iron or something similar?

The room with the washer/dryer & shower is what my grandparents in Texas called a mud room. My grandma even had an old treadle sewing machine. At their farm (house looks very similar also with the wood paneling etc) was connected to the garage, kitchen, & had a door to the backyard. Theirs had a sink & it’s where grandma would make grandpa clean the fish he caught. Their kitchen had a breakfast bar that was between the kitchen & dining room. They had a stovetop like that one & 2 ovens stacked in a wall. Oh! That chest with the diamond carving in the “hang out room” is an old hope chest!

All I could see in the house was clutter and everything thrown on the floor. I couldnt live that way. The "stuff" means nothing. Its just clutter.

I wonder how long ago they abound on the house ?I also wonder why the house has not gone into foreclosure unless they are still paying the property taxes. I guess a quick check @ the tax assessors website will yield info on this property. Also, have you talked to the neighbors??

Why is everyone assuming the turtles died in that cage? I've found several turtle shells out in the woods before, and one of them in the cage looks REALLY sun bleached. Maybe it's just shell they've found while hiking in the woods, and maybe the crab shells are ones they bought? That's a super small tank for two turtles of that size AND hermit crabs.

The house was set-up 99% kids, 1% adult. 😂 The TEMS unit on the dresser is used to help people with extreme nerve damage and pain. So many opened pill bottles with the seals still laying right beside them. The house looked extremely organized then layered with unorganized mess. It appears as if someone became bedridden and unable to continue care. I’m real surprised to see a rifle left leaning on the Christmas Tree. (Kinda creepy), It’s a shame family members didn’t help collect their precious memories. 😢🙏
