4 "full" 10 episode seasons would maybe have done this show justice. I say that because any show normally only has 4 great seasons and this show deserved them. Undeniably my favourite.

It didn’t get that because Aaron Sorkin said after West Wing he’d never do a TV series longer than three years. And HBO decided not to make the same mistake as NBC did with West Wing and keep it going once Sorkin was gone.

@@jasonkoch3182 which is sensible but it had another 10 episodes - culturally and current event wise; there will always be new material for that show.

Hey ChatGPT, rewrite the following to fit in 140 characters: "Rewrite the following to fit in a 140 characters: "We're doing this whole broadcast on the fly. Wil doesn't have a rundown. It's the EP's first show, and she's got the whole thing in her head - she's the only one show knows where we're going next. It's a feat the requires incredible trust between the anchor and the EP." "On-the-fly broadcast. No rundown for Wil. EP's debut show with everything in her head. Only she knows where we're going next. Trusting anchor-EP feat."

Every time I say "Where the hell are we!?!?" ,and it's pretty often, I do my best to sound as close to Charlie Skinner as possible.

4:26 "We stand for something, it's a moral obligation' 10 years later, that line hits like a tonne of bricks. Why is it that fiction describes what reality should mean, better than modern reality?

I've always wondered if we had had a real Wil McAvoy then maybe the Tea Party/Freedom Caucus/Koch Brothers may not have turned into a lasting political movement.

One of my favorite scenes of Charlie is the deleted scene he has with Sloan. They discuss being nerds and how he accuses her of making nerds look bad and she says that she makes nerds look good.
