For anyone living with a TBI, even if it feels hopeless and that everyday is painful and torture just keep pushing forward. Not everyone can survive a TBI and the ones that do are the toughest people on this planet. You survived for a reason and you just have to learn to live with the pain and keep going. 3 years ago I was knocked off a ladder 20ft straight to the back of my head. A 10ft piece of gas line pipe smashed my eye knocking me out and sending me 20ft to the ground. I live everyday with head pain/pressure. I live with memory loss, mood swings, anger control problems among a lot of other things and sometimes I feel alone but I also remind myself I’m lucky to have survived and that not everyone in the world would’ve survived A TBI. And that goes for anyone who’s suffering right now yes it’s brutal sometimes and not everyone is gonna accomadate you and your injury so your gonna have to find it within yourself to adapt and keep surviving like you did when you received your TBI. Not trying to sound like I know it all cause I’m still learning as I go, but what really keeps me going is trying to connect with people who feel the same way I do or people who need guidance to get as far as I have in my process.

The most saddest story ever. I am so sorry. I lost my Father; my best friend yesterday due to his TBI. More awareness is needed, I didn’t have a clue. Thank you for sharing your son Matt and your family’s strength, hope and experience. God bless all of you and may Matt live in peace in heaven with God.

Hey Vaxxers! Can any of you show where we can find some proof of that the well over 70M Americans that had zero covid jabs are "being hospitalized and/or dying at higher rates"?

Sending love & prayers to you both~ you are not alone, our family too share this loss from this silent killer.. unfortunately our family learned much too late the devastation that plagued our boys mind after his accident.. He too just like your son reached out to me and knew something was off, his exact word “ I think the accident took a mental toll on me. Since the moment our son left too soon~ we’ve left no stone unturned to find out what happen He had so much life yet to live.. we began our search with “ depression after an accident” which lead us to sooo many answers and the correlation of suicide and tbi!!! We couldn’t believe all there is to know if you know what to look for.. I wanted to scream .. I want to do more for our son, but it was all too late.. So the very best we can do now is try our best in advocating for our son and others alike and just as you are doing… so our boys will be heard and I’ve said time and again they will be the reason someone lives and understands what mTBI/ TBI is and how it affects the mind!!!! I’m truly sorry you know this pain, You are two very amazing people to share your story and your son.. there’s no doubt in my mind our boys led our paths to cross. Here is what we’ve done in the last almost 3 yrs to help be our sons voice to help others know more…My reply to what our family is learning the hard way of the seriousness of concussion/tbi ** Were never sure of anyones circumstances but please don’t take your emotions lightly.. I’m a forever heartbroken mom, a father without his only son ,sisters without their brother ..our family has been shattered!!!! We are learning much too late our sons concussion /tbi (aka post concussion syndrome depression)he sustained from a accident in September of 2019 would cost him his life 22 months later ~please know it’s real!!! & messes with your psyche.. Seth loved life & had a promising, bright future.. he had dreams & plans.. I vow now to him to be his voice … to help as much as I can to raise awareness of this debilitating side of a concussion. Know your feelings are real & it’s not just in your head. I wish someone would have reach out to our family,to my son… ( please know too a ct scan & mri may not always pick up the severity of your concussion.. it’s very important you educate yourself!!!!) I will share a link we found with info of the seriousness of mTBI,TBI/pcs , prayers this finds you and anyone else who may be in need of answers before it’s too late~ www.cognitivefxusa.com/blog/post-concussion-syndrome-suicidal-thoughts And also through Biausa Coping with Suicide and Depression after Brain Injury * my promise to our son .. to bare the cross he carried & bring awareness to the depression side of a tbi/mtbi, post concussion syndrome Depression!! Seth Kimbro made broken look beautiful, he walked with the universe on his shoulders & made it look like a pair of wings~ forever our beautiful son with eyes that smile.🌅sunrise 05/13/1997 to sunset 7/17/2021.🌄

I am a 16 year TBI survivor. Myy injury was caused by a truck falling on my head. I wwasn't supposed to live, and the authorities were even considering pronouncing me dead on the scene. I'm doing good now days, I'm living independently and on the way to getting married sometime in the near future. My memory is one of the bigger issues I still face from time to time still, but it's all good.

This was good! By coincidence I was hospitalized with a bad case of shingles and there everything started, long story. Done colonoscopy several times now, colon cancer stage 3, bad melanoma mole on my left wrist, they removed a plum size hole, gallbladder removed, I've never smoked or been constipated, go figure! I've been in remission for the last 4 years. Doing my followup in a week, no symptoms, doing my homework, colonoscopy in one week. Get checked ✔

2:00 they said after the exam you won't feel anything from the radioactive stuff. Didn't say anything about before when they injected into you. Does that hurt.

You should be allowed to take whatever you need to to stay calm. I always take Ativan before MRI's, but I get a prescription from my doctor beforehand. Just make sure someone is with you to drive you home.

my surgeon told me that the technology for hip resurfacing isn’t advanced enough to get a permanent bind of the new material to the femural head. if there was a way to make that surfacing bind better, he’d recommend it all day long but he said the resurfacing just doesn’t last long enough.

My best friend had a serious brain injury & he would have hallucinations. Basically, he would see dead people. Once he saw a young Asian female sitting on his bed & he said she was good looking & had black eyes. Another time he said an older African-American couple was sitting on the sofa & remained silent. Another time he said children were playing by the front door even though no one was there. There was hanging curtains covering the sliding glass door to the back of the apartment & he said a man was hiding behind the curtains & all he could see was his feet. It was as if he was dead but wouldn't acknowledge the fact. Anyone experience this or have any knowledge of this? It was so real I came to believe him.

I had the Ream and Run shoulder surgery back in 2021. Dr Michael Moskal performed the surgery and it was miraculous on what the result was. I'd be happy to say some words about this wonderful surgery. I was 56 years old at the time. Thank you Dr. Matson for pioneering this surgery. I have had no issues whatsoever since the surgery.

I’m curious as to why more TKR’s are done more often than this minimally invasive Quadricep procedure . As I noticed this video is over 10 yrs. Old. Why are so many people going through so much pain if they don’t have to? Also you hardly ever hear about it, or it’s never offered. I personally have never heard of it till now. LA

I've found conflicting information over what foods are allowed the day before. This video says "NO FOOD" only clear liquids, and in another, I've found that foods like rice and fish are OK, only the day before. The day OF, clear liquids of course is a must. My concern is that my procedure isn't until 3pm, so if I followed this advice, I would technically not be able to eat any solid food for almost 2 days.
