You can stick mixed gas into a regular gas tank and it will run and won't hurt anything. Probably drop the octane a little bit but that's the worst it'll do. It'll basically lubricate the engine more gooder 😂 2-stroke don't have engine oil so if you're on regular gas after a couple minutes running it will go dry inside and start wearing itself out. Run it for an hour without any oil it'll wear those internals the same as if you ran it for years with oil. Wear a brand new weed whacker out in an afternoon if you try to run just regular gas. In a pinch with a cheaper machine like an echo or something like if you've got from a yard sale I have found you can use regular motor oil instead and it'll still work & lube it. Only problem is if you do it all the time it'll gum things up with ash because the 2 stroke oil is made to turn to smoke but motor oil will leave more ash behind.

The key to PHEVs (Plug-in Hybrid Electric Vehicle) saving money like that is being able to plug in. I am lucky and can plug mine in at the house for overnight recharge and at the office to charge up during the 8-hour work day. I have considered getting the Prime as a replacement for the PHEV that I have now. However, Toyota is apparently only shipping them in quantity to certain states. My local dealership said they might get ONE in August or September. So that is a wet blanket on my enthusiasm for the car.

Man, you are a lifesaver! We are getting ready to pack for a trip in our Pruis V. I was messing around with the latch and managed to get it stuck in this closed position... was trying to pry it open again with a screwdriver to no avail.
