Awesome information - I found Lean Marketing to be the best overall business book I've ever read. I'm a small business owner and today I hired two staff members to help me with my marketing efforts and strategy as a result of reading the book and listening to this podcast. Thank you very much! I'm getting ready to launch a book in September, any tips for incorporating the launch into my existing strategy?☺Danette

Great question! One of the top non-negotiable skills we look for in any marketing hire is writing. So much of marketing is dependent on writing - emails, SEO, social content, websites. The list goes on! You might also find this video helpful: kzfaq.info/get/bejne/sNN9l7h708izpYE.html And we have a new video coming out next week breaking down the 6 non-negotiables that every marketer should have. Make sure you subscribe so you don't miss it!

I loved how practical you explained everything to systemize the business; As a new marketer for a solo Indie video game studio, I am in charge of doing everything on my own, while I am not interested in some areas and even talented for doing all stuff on my own; This video reminded me I can delegate some of my duties to other people who are more enthusiastic and more talented for sure :)

Happy to hear it was helpful, Leila! Delegation is key to getting things done and working in your zone of genius! And the first step is creating systems so you can hand it off to someone else. Have you grabbed a free copy of the 1-Page Marketing Plan book yet? If not, grab one here: successwise.com/sm-free-book-yt

Good stuff, go North Carolina ~~ I am a consultant in the Asia-Pacific region mostly working in SE Asia, for international companies that want to invest in energy projects in the region, gas to power, solar and wind. They are capex intensive projects but before all of the investing and banking, they need market, political and energy due diligence - which is what I offer. I've done this since pre-Covid and wonder if your certiifcation fits what I do. It's a long way off from most of the examples used in Allan's book and what you guys discuss in these clips. Cheers

Thanks Allan. I've heard some of this before, but the collective message here is quite powerful. I especially liked the bit about your competition not being your competition.

Thanks Glen and Allan for this great structure and inspiration. On what one big idea do I want to shine a spotlight on? How we can (and must) qualify for the 22nd century by our actions today: q22century.org When I look at our civilization it is amazing what potential we have to truly grow, thrive and progress in this 21st century which requires more complex strategies than the last century. But I am stunned how we waste this potential and approach collapse due to our short sightedness allowing ourselves to be distracted by unimportant things. So for the last few years I explored how we can qualify for the 22nd century and I have broken it down into some viable steps we can take. 1. The foundation: Empower ourselves with a superhero mindsets and actions (my 2020 book www.amazon.com/Level-Superhero-six-simple-steps/dp/3944218140/ ) 2. Transform to a climate positive civilization rapidly to save world economy and the life support systems of our planet (therefore I am currently writing the climate transformation travel guide - travelguide.climatehackerz.com/ ) 3. Achieve the balance of power and responsibility 4. Master the technological singularity As of the urgency I am currently focusing on the exponential climate transformation which needs real people empowerment as the foundation. Due to AI related risks we also must pay enough attention to step 4 and I believe that also here we have to live our lives a good example of Chivalry and wisdom as I point to in my book Level Up to Superhero.
