Tremaine always bit on pay action fakes. He was big and fast but not instinctive. I expect Bernard has a bit more between the ears as well. He's more coachable.

The thing I observed from Tremaine was he was always chasing ppl down from behind after they were already 5-10 yards past the line of scrimmage. Racking up tackles that were over inflated because he wasn't helping get stops and getting 3/4th downs and stopping drives.

Bernard all day every day. Edmunds is seriously overrated.

Bernard had more splash plays in one year than Edmunds had in five !!! Tremaine's pass effectiveness only worked in occupying a zone. He was a liability when it came to man-to-man coverage especially with twitchy receivers. Tremaine also didn't have the quick instinctive read ability that Bernard does.

Not just his size (Solomon's), but it's also this coaching staff's hesitation to give young edges any real amount of meaningful snaps. Rousseau played the most and even he was limited, bit Epenesa & Basham were both held back as well, and the 3 of them were all 1st or 2nd rd picks.

Jarvis didnt make the team last year. Alec Anderson and Ryan VanDemark make it. I dont think Lael Collins is a lock either.

I love both Morris and Gilliam, but do we need both? Same size, & Gilliam can play TE in a blocking role as well, whereas Morris doesnt play FB.

They kept 5 WRs to start the season last year.

Gore Jr. Is small, slow, and very unathletic. Thats basically the entire reason why he went undrafted. Doesnt mean he cant play. But hes going to have to really show out to make the roster.

Really think Martin loses out. He had great moments last year, but Bass struggled. And there's a reason they brought Haack back in. That screams that they werent thrilled with Martin's holding. If Browning can develop a rapport with Bass, then i think he wins the job.

Damar has reportedly looked like the best safety on the team surprisingly. It's surprising, but is it really? The year he had his incident he was on pace to lead the team in tackles and finished with 90+. I think we are just all remembering last year which is likely not fair. If he shows this improvement is legit throughout camp and preseason, I think he sticks. But if he is cut, aren't the obvious 4 choices at safety Rapp, Edwards, Bishop, and Lewis? Unless he's considered a corner, then I'd say it's Hamlin.

Ravens are gonna take a step back, imo. They lost 3 oline starters and are de-emphasizing the pass, and they step backed last time they did that. Browns just need average to above average play from Watson to be great. Their OLine should stay in better health, and the defense is going to be in the second year and so theoretically better. I have it Browns, Cincy on tir breakers, Ravens, Steelers. But the entire divisio. Is good so anything can happen.
