Can't say I've had the chance to sit in a 727 cockpit before. Such a shame we don't have cool shit like this anymore. I remember the last FedEx 727 I saw was approaching IND a month before they were retired. Good memories.

Me too!! I’m glad this is being put to good use! I know they run the APU from time to time and there are rumors floating around saying they turn on the engines from time to time!

Oh yeah, I remember those! My town markets the halfway point between ABE and PHL. I heard USAir Dash 8s at least a dozen times a day every day for years on end, constantly interrupted by the droning propellers and a crazy obnoxious howling whistle which you may or may not known about. That was until October 2017 when their operator now AA Eagle replaced them with the similar sized but much quieter ERJ-145, their thunderous roar can still easily be heard through under certain conditions.
