Highly edited version. Arrangement in a different iteration maybe. No flugel solo and not as beefy as it became

Best score of the series! Williams during this period was a beast, Empire Strikes Back and Temple of Doom tempos and runs are monstrous, in a good way.

The sound quality of both band and recording equipment for 1970 is extremely impressive. This is nearly 60 years ago. Love it.

Incredibale combination of bands including G.U.S. Footwear band of which my dad was cornet player. Lovely rare footage of the percussion section in action. Many thanks for this.❤

Is it even possible to play without pressure at that point?
@TheOldBeef4 ай бұрын
no, unless you're playing pianissimo
@trainmastertmh48763 ай бұрын
yes it is. you really need to focus on the tongue arch being in the right shape to speed up the air enough while also not being so pinched that it forces you to use the "E" vowel instead of the "ah' or "oh" vowel
@Tipoze2 ай бұрын
@@trainmastertmh4876 I have always thought of vowels as directly caused by tongue position, how would you say they are non-dependent? (genuinely wanting to be able to think of this differently)

There are a few Brass band performances that have stuck in my mind over the years. 1) YBS - Concerto Grosso 2) YBS - Music of the Spheres 3) Black Dyke - Triumph of Time 4) Brighouse & Rastrick - Paganini Variations (Yorkshire Area) 5) Brighouse & Rastrick - Breath of Souls 6) ISB - Fire in the Blood (world premiere) 7) Desford - Seascapes (winning performance Nationals) 8) Cory - Brussels Requiem 9) Valaisia - Fraternity (British Open winning performance) 10! Brass Band Treize Etoiles - Sand & Stars & This performance from Desford Whoever was sat in the Audience at this concert heard something extra special when they played this. Heard Fodens last weekend at the NW areas 24 and it was good but nowhere near this electrifying performance
