Great video as always :) I would be really interested to know how the compressor would work as a master to give my end signal a bit of compression. Do you know if that would work well?

Hi Ziv! Back watching this video for the 12th time (thank you for your book material on this too, btw). I've been on the hunt for quadraphonic concerts to attend before I take a real crack at the modular approach on my own. Ciani is performing one show in the U.S. 2000 miles away from me this year. Figured I'd ask if you know of any electronic musicians who perform in Quad before consulting Reddit. Thanks in advance to any who can answer!

Any thoughts on using this as a synth module, and doing all of the sequencing in Cubase? Wouldn't that be more powerful than using it standalone?

I know im late to this party but i have modwave native and i have just bought a mark1 wavestate. Was just wondering if I would be able to control the modwave native with the wavestate hardware. Any input would be appreciated.

Imagine this synth having motorised encoders like the Melbourne Nina. 😍 Let's call it Subsequent 25+ and smack a display on it as well. If not than I would love to see an update that uses the LED's above the octave buttons to show the position of the pots when you touch them. 😺

It's 2024. I'm really done with mono only, no midi and no saving patches. I look forward to my Pro-800 coming next week. Analog, 8 voices, patch savings, midi, an editor and I can live with the membrane buttons quality.

I trigger samples with percussion pads. This would be great to make samples and loops. I don't think I could control much more that note numers in a live setting. Maybe with a Bop Pad or KAT DITI?

Love mine but there are a few things i would loved to see added. It says it has 2 AWM Synths but they are more like a rompler/Preset player since you can't change the sound with adsr or Choose waveforms and i hope that will change since we have a editor for it. I also hope they will add a mode so we can Choose between USB or Battery Power since it only relies on the Battery power to work now and when that Battery is dead the product will be useless. Being able to change midi Channels for different tracks would also be great.

@loopop Thanks for this in-deep video. You are very neutral with your personal opinions, which is good for this kind of videos. The unit looks to me after your video like a real innovation: User-Interface, Sound-scapes and the productive process as musician. What is your personal opinion on this? Is it outstanding? Is it a different experience?

Thanks for the kind words. I agree with you that it's a true innovation. Personally I like it a lot but as you mentioned, I try to make videos as objective as possible because what may be right for me may not be right for you.

I love the idea of full touch, but I like to sequence stuff dawlessly. I wonder how long it will take before we see something like an elektron box with full MPE sequencing. Seems like it might be impossible because MPE floods the midi channels

Does each oscilator have its own filter? Can I change the filter and amp and all that stuff without affecting oscilators 2 and 3? And, then do the same with the other two oscilators? Or, are the filters and global affecting all oscilators?

This is the best addition I've made to my dawless setup. Currently using it with a Virus TI2, Octatrack as my mixer/sampler/looper and MD/A4 for bass/drums. It's a very efficient and seamless workflow to build up 4 to 8 part multis on the Virus (included layered parts) -- bouncing down to Octatrack and adding even more parts/layers as needed.

I'm with you on the key bed. It's a new generation thing just as aftertouch was in the 80s. They obviously have an interest in the future of midi implementations so I think the midi controller with this standard of key bed must come.
