But he's the only one of the siblings who lives a decently happy life, while having had the worst childhood by far of them all. So, about Rick lashing out at Emma. On that note, I will admit, that Rick most likely had regressed back to his old self at that point. There was a hint of Rick's old self re-emerged when he thought that Emma was attracted to him, but it should be noted, that by that point, Rick had already endured a bunch of stress and harassment, so I guess he was vulnerable to falling for the first girl that started being nice to him after what felt like an eternity. I will admit again though, it certainly was delusional of Rick to think that any girl associated with Terri would actually want to be with him romantically.

After all these years, it is interesting to see how polarizing this storyline can be. Some viewers easily understand that the bullying went too far, and yet still some viewers choose to remain hung up on the fact that he hurt Terri. They don't see that Rick endured most of the harassment because he felt he deserved it, but that wasn't enough for them. They don't understand why it was the paint and feathers that made Rick snap. In Rick's mind, enduring physical punishment that he felt he deserved was one thing, but being publicly humiliated during what would have been one of the best moments of his life...that just hits different. Also, while feathering is a very old prank, in this particular context, I think it was a subtle reference to the climax of an old movie titled Carrie.

You're not wrong for saying Rick should have just gone to another school. Still, the bullying went way too far, and consequences happened.

Yes in season 6 it's a different intro and the theme song is without the lyrics!

Some of the characters go off to college for their college story lines and some of the other characters still stay at the Degrassi School for the last year but for season 6 it starts to split into a semester and instead a full school year like it is for the first five seasons but some of these characters are still in the show for a few more seasons and then after that they're no longer in the show then it'll be a brand new cast of characters after that like going into Seasons 8 and 9 and then of course season 10 is when it becomes a completely different show after that has a completely different cast of characters for the rest of the show for the later later half of Degrassi and also those Seasons later on are really long seasons over 40 episodes

Yeah it really didn't make any sense that Mr Simpson would cheat on Emma's mom Spike in this season because they've been married since season 2 of Degrassi the Next Generation but they do get back together in their marriage after he tries to make up but cheating on her with the principal of the school yeah that storyline didn't make any sense and that's Peter's mom

These are probably two of my favorite Degrassi episodes. You said you didn't know what Diane meant when she said "Women don't want an episode of 'This Old House'". "This Old House" is a long-running instructional TV show teaching home repairs and do-it-yourself construction and renovations. It's being airing on PBS for 40 years, and apparently it must be famous in Canada too. When Hazel said to Alex "And if you really want to know how bad a freeze-out can get, phone Ashley Kerwin up.", she was referring to when Paige froze Ashley out in the beginning of Season 2 and early Season 2.

Season 5 is the last season for right then for the theme song to be saying because season 6 is just the instrumental version same with season 7 and then later on and later Seasons there's other different people singing the whatever it takes theme song in different versions😊 I know you haven't gotten that far yet but I can't wait to see what you think about all the later seasons of the show and Degrassi becomes a lot more different later later on with other different people in the show different cast

I think Degrassi did make a mistake with the whole liberty and JT being 15 thing… back then I never questioned it cause I was a kid myself… Marcos dad made me cry, because he literally said he has the perfect son, but him being gay ruins it. Marco dad is also from a diff generation. But he definitely loves him, cause the other kid dad kicked him out.. Also his dad calling Actors gay is insane… i remember telling my pops I wanted be an actor and he said it wasn’t a real job🤣… I didn’t listen. i have to be honest i believe that with the right support a teenage mother can raise their child really well but not everyone wants to do that i don't think abortion is murder its a choice i wonder if putting the kid up for adoption is just as painful if not more than abortion though cause that can cause some challenges down the line too and also i know craigs excited now but i just worry when the baby does come its not going to be as fun as he thinks what do you think
