Can honestly say that I am not surprised you didn't like the tea. Just by the colour alone, it looks as though you waved the teabag over the water. Tea should be 'seeped' for a few minutes, so the flavour is drawn out. Also, you probably had an Earl Grey breakfast tea and not a proper cuppa. Maybe next time. Just a word of warning, it is not a good idea to shout "Manchester United" in a southern city that has several large football teams of its own. Football supporters are very serious about their club. I am glad you enjoyed your visit to our capital city. Maybe on your next trip you can visit Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, York. Wonderful northern cities with amazing history, good food, great beer and fabulous people. It will also be less expensive. As a tourist, you can purchase a rail card that saves you a lot of money off your rail fare. You can then take in some of Scotland and Wales, too! See you both soon ❤️🏴🇬🇧
@joseph.almendarezАй бұрын
Thanks for the tip about the tea. I definitely think we didn’t let it seeped long enough! We would love to visit all of those cities and hope to go back soon. We do have a trip planned for next year to Scotland and are super excited for that! Thank you for watching and your response 🙌

I appreciate the love, but you got so much wrong - Firtsly, n'o one should wish to stay 'North side of the Thames, in zone 1... Let's compare: If you stay in NYC - you choose Brooklyn for the VIEW of Manhatten, and the cheaper prices.. OR... you stay mid town, to be central and walk to 'most places'. London is laid out in a different manner and 3x bigger than NYC.. however.. you need to advise people to stay in Kensington, Chelsea, Bayswater, Notting Hill, Islington, South Hampstead..and so on... 10 minutes anywhere by tube, but without noise and tourist BS!!!!!

It doesn't look like you let the tea brew as it came out looking like hot water. The tea needs to steep a bit and milk needs adding. If you're British you know how to get the timing right to get the right cup of tea. Maybe you won't like tea anyway but you it looked like you just had insipid hot water. Glad you seemed to like the food though.

Honestly German food is really tasty even though a lot of people don’t like it. I will say German food is HEAVY. Lots of heavy meats and breaded dishes. We didn’t have enough traditional UK food for me to give a true comparison but if cooked right German food can be very delicious. I will have to make more videos of food we eat here in Germany!

LOL, that accent! Only it wouldn't be Manu, it would be "Chell-see" or any London club. But overall, pretty good! One thing - London doesn't have a "downtown" as American cities do. Or even in a Manhattan sense. It's West End ("town") or The City or Islington but never "downtown". Good vid - I lived there for 45 years, only leaving (retiring) a couple of years ago. Go to Gloucester Cathedral, Oxford University, Edinburgh, where JK Rowling wrote the book, and take the Jacobite Steam Train from Fort William to Mallaig. There you will ride over the famous Glenfinnan viaduct famous from the films. Also Kings Cross station in London has a platform 9¾ where you can take great photos trying to push a luggage trolley through the wall.
