If it's not asking for a code, it's probably unlocked already. Unlocked phones won't ask for codes.

You can definitely try it out on your iPhone and see if it works, but the common methods that are used in the video generally works for everyone.

You can always contact the carriers and ask them directly regarding the lock status of their devices. Depending on carrier's offerings they might be already unlocked.

@cellunlockernet That's true. AT&T has an online form that's easy, but it says your final payment/purchase must be made at least 60 days prior. I don't know what other carriers say.

@@cellunlockernet I contacted SAMSUNG TECH SUPPORT directly and gave them the IMEI #& they tell me of its showing locked or not. And they tell you what carrier.

Although please note that carriers can still blacklist the IMEI of your device (blacklist just means they ban your IMEI from using their networks, and carriers in North America usually share that list with each other, but they cannot relock the phone, once unlocked it's permanently unlocked). In the situation it's blacklisted it will only work for overseas carriers outside of the original country.

Hi there, if your phone isn't asking for an unlock code even after inserting a sim card from another carrier, it's probably network unlocked already. (It's how Samsung designed the phone, once unlocked it will never ask for an unlock code ever again.)

Unfortunately, "invalid simcard" is not related to any unlocking problems. It seems probably the sim card itself is defective and would need to be changed, or the sim card slot of the device for some reason not reading it. (Probably best to take it to a local phone repair store.)

@@cellunlockernet I have T-moible. And no, it's just prompts a message saying my phone isn't allowed to use the sim card. It tells me to go to my settings to unlock. But when I do, it just keeps saying my phone isn't eligible to be unlocked.

If you were referring to the factory reset, most likely it will wipe all the data including pictures in the hidden files.

@@cellunlockernet Thanks. I asked that because I've seen a galaxy note 20 ultra in my country in one of the shops selling at a very cheap price but the phones being sold are network locked. Thought of buying it and then unlocking it. But again what if it fails to be unlocked
