What font are you looking for? It could be that Adobe doesn't have a license for that specific font. There are quite a few available for you to use, but having all the fonts forever would be nearly impossible. Best of luck on your Adobe journey!

The font files are saved into hidden local directory on your computer. You don't have access to them the same way you would access fonts downloaded from other sources. To see a list of the fonts you have gotten from Adobe, go to the Creative Cloud desktop app and click the "f" menu icon in the upper right corner. As for the other apps, once the fonts are added, they will appear in the font menu of each application, alongside all of your locally installed fonts. They will be immediately available in most programs, but a few need to be restarted to add new fonts to the menu (for example, Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office).

@@aberrythvtt You should be able to access them in other apps, you just can't access the font file itself. It's kind of like watching a movie on Netflix as opposed to owning the Blu-ray. If you own the font, you can do whatever you want with it, but if you get the font from Adobe you are, essentially, borrowing it.

@@academicinnovation The specific app I'm using requires me to drag and drop the font file itself into it, I'm afraid :/ thanks for the info tho

@@aberrythvtt You're welcome. You may be able to look up info about the app you are using and see if there is a way to connect it to Adobe fonts.

Once you select the font from the website, it should be available to you in Photoshop. Occasionally I find that I need to restart Photoshop for it to update the font list.

@@academicinnovation I tried your way and doing what others suggested, but it doesn't work. I have two Elgato wave XLR mics and i want to set up to have both of us talking in the same room.

@@virgo2fly I've has good luck using the ASIO trick, but if it's not working for you, you may need to pick up a simple mixing console.

I managed to get it to recognise 2 USB mics but the sound quality is atrocious through the ASIO driver. Switch back to MME and just use one and it's perfect so ADIO4ALL is shit. As backed up by googling and reading Reddit

Ok, it is because I made it as a "presentation" slide show and NOT as a webpage. This is critical for this guy's awesome code workaround to work, you MUST create it as a webpage, NOT a standard Express presentation. Still pissed at Adobe because it tells you you can embed any Adobe Express project into your Portfolio site- thank you sooo much to "Academic Innovation"- maybe Adobe will finally pull their head out and fix this issue!

Thanks again, you literally saved my college homework assignment, and taught my longtime Multimedia Communications teacher a thing or two lol. One other nice feature is, after you use your coding workaround and get your Express webpage slideshow embedded on your designated Portfolio site page, you can make further edits and adjustments to your Express webpage presentation slideshow (in Express) and once you update it in Express, it will automatically update on your Portfolio site where it is embedded- I was stoked about that because I'd already spent so much time creating the first one, and then having to do the second one as a webpage meant I made some overly tired mistakes that needed to be fixed. Thought I was going to have to do the whole coding embed thing again, but thankfully, I didn't have to. Cheers, Cat-@@academicinnovation

Sorry for the late response. KZfaq didn't notify me of your comment! You can only use the defined buttons in Portfolio. To use an image as a button, you would need to create the project in something like Adobe Dreamweaver.

ASIO helps bypass the sound card and allows you to record multiple inputs. Without it Audition struggles to record from two different mics without some sort of break out box.

Be sure that you are using that code and double check your syntax. If you miss one letter or one bit of code, it will throw it off. In the description it wouldn't let me use the greater than and less than symbols, so be sure to add them in when typing everything out.
