i agree about waterproofing. This was 7 years ago and some drones such as Swellpro can now go in propellers first, reright them selves and take off again if the fault is not permanent.

if you fish in the same place, you don't need to recalibrate it.

Great info, I have purchased a FD1 for fishing, however I have only been able to calibrate it and the fly about 20 yards before the "Battery Low" indicator came on and the battery won't charge. Have been attempting to correct this issue with the company for over 2 weeks, to no avail. Buy at your own risk.

What is nice about this drone it uses a standard XT60 connection. You can likely find compatible aftermarket batteries pretty easily.

no, you only have to calibrate once in the same area

@@Swellpro why? For ten years now DJI drones find GPS anywhere without calibration. I own five of them and have never had to do a compass calibration ever no matter how far I travel. Your drones are more expensive but perform very poorly in comparison.

It looks' like they cheaped out on the controller for this model. Other models from this manufacturer had much more robust controllers - and they were waterproof. What gives?

cheaped out on everything ... the software is ten years out of date, no Glonass and the compass is dodgy.

The problem keeping me from buying the gimbal mount is there's no way to preview where you're flying the drone? You will have no idea what you're seeing until you get your drone back to watch it? So you can't really fly the drone far?
