My dad brought me this 45 rpm record home from work. Not the free floppy disc found in Corvette News but the actual record with a blue label that Chevy dealers got as a promo for the 61 Corvette.

I visited Zora and his wife the other week at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, KY! Very surprised to see they are interred there.

Did anyone know my father, Richard Booth? He was in Ubon 66 to 68 I think.

I spent 1966 in Ubon. I was a jet engine mechanic. All I remember is the heat monsoons and 12 he working days.

Listen to Zora wring out this 1961 Fuelie Corvette, it'll give you goose-bumps! He winds up that 283 Fuelie and lets it wind down, it sounds SO COOL! And, he sure sounded a lot like Bela Lugosi! :-)))

I had this record as a kid. Have been looking for it for a long time. Nice to hear it again.

(The business representative from Bangalore stated they graduate 100 Thousand engineers each year, with a income of 8 thousands dollars per year. Manual labor cost is only 13 dollars a day plus one bag of rice every three months. (Using American engineers and labors Cypress was making over 600 Million Dollars per year.) Being one of the first Corporations to manufacture high tech products over seas ment their profits could quadrupled. It was only a matter of time before Bangalore and similar places would start to manufacture and market their own semiconductors and other high tech products. By 1997 the American Business Sector and Labor force finally started to realize that economic competition was world wide.

Jackie Presser indorsed Ronald Regan. Personally he was a very descent to work with when he lead the Teamsters in the state of Ohio.

An interesting important fact that this article didn't mention. Before international globalization production and manufacturing competition began. Beginning in the Industrial Revolution Business Corporations Manufacturing would build or relocate their operations on the premise of no taxes,lower wages, and no benefits or pension obligations. When the time came to increase salaries,wages and pay State -Government Taxes. The business would just take the next cheapest area to manufacture and operate from. One State/City loss is a another's States/City's gains. Capitalism or Exportation now on a global scale will the consumers and labor force be able to benefit from this system who knows.

If the company is worth billions and they have a new factory in a foreign country that only pays 5dollars a day to workers which still puts them at the very bottom of the poverty level. They need to explain the moral economic and political reasons for doing so. (Weren't they still making a profit at paying 20dollards an hour to workers in America? On just one of Cyprus products made in America they made six hundred million dollars a year.)

Altered video/ domino sugar Inquiry for this video was made over 8yrs ago. Had original televised version on VHS and watched the original airing broadcast on analogue color television. How long to make a propaganda version 8yrs ?

I was assigned to the 23rd TASS at NKP but spent 4 months at Ubon, 23rd TASS OL-1. We had about 12 O-2s there. Went back to NKP in June 69 when the OV-10s came down from NKP. Great base. Spent a lot of evenings at the Playboy, Corsair, and Fairlane clubs.

Not technically a NA F-86 Sabre but an Australian varient, the RAAF CAC CA-27 Avon Sabre. The Avon Sabre has a larger fuselage and intake for the more powerful Avon engine and 2 X 30mm Aden Cannon's, along with other differences. Great video of Bob👍

Thanks for the memories. I was at Ubon RTAFB from September 1965 to September 1966. Worked as a crew chief and flight mechanic on the two C-47's at Ubon. Worked out of the passenger terminal building. Our tools and spare parks were stored in a conex box off to the side of the parking ramp. Kind of a primitive operation but I would not trade the experience for anything.

Hello Bob, I just found your video and it brought back some memories. I was stationed at Ubon with the 433rd Tac Ftr. Sq. (part of the 8th TFW from George AFB, California) from December 1965 until July 1966, as an aircraft mechanic on the F4C Phantom. Unfortunately, at this point in life (almost 73) I can't recall anyone I was stationed with at Ubon. I would like to hear from anyone who was there and knew me by my nick name (Stash).
