Liver, especially calf's liver, you can commonly get in Germany with loads of sauteed onions and mashed potatoes. Sweetbreads made me lose it once in a fine dining restaurant when they sent it out as a "greeting from the kitchen" and I assumed from the shape it was cauliflower... well it wasn't.. LOL

All of your videos are fantastic, but the crossword whispering videos conquer all...long may it continue!

I would never buy a magazine like that, so I'm living vicariously through you ;-) Loved Tromso in Norway, great food and awesome people. If you have the time, walk over the bridge and take the cable car up the mountain opposite town. Stunning views all around. Try the cinnamon rolls and coffee at Riso mat & kaffebar. I want to say that we tried almost all of the cinnamon rolls one could have in different cafes in Tromso and that was the best one. 🤤 Try the restaurant Suvi. Have fun!!!

Kidneys are somewhat familiar in UK but it’s something people used to cook at home before the 80s . I’ve had kidneys on toast and sweetbreads at a restaurant though. In japan chicken liver and heart are very common grilled on skewers. I had haggis with neeps and tatties in Scotland ( swede and potatoes) and it was quite yummy
