You are better off going independent as you'll be a glorified employee and not an owner. You have to answer to them and do as they say.

Va made it mandatory to be mold certified. Google requires u to have General Liability. I did my first job like u said. I'm still in the initial phase and need more leads.

When I call plumbers they say they already have a guy and I get discouraged but I’ll never give up, I just need to be more efficient and effective and this is good for confidence. I need to get those damn jobs!

I was on thumbtack in Dallas Tx and noticed Belfor Restoration already owns a plumbing co. Z Plumbers

We’re not alone out here. Everyone’s feeling the squeeze right now! Love the idea of buying plumbing leads. Water damage leads online are crazy out here $450-$600 for a possible sale. Plumbers are $1000 a sold lead. Control the market and make it work in your favor. Restoration and Plumbing are not going to merge out in Portland for awhile because plumbers are a dying breed so they control the company and the referrals. If a plumber doesn’t get the spiff they will drag 3-5 plumber coworkers to a new company for that spiff. Serve them to win them!

I'm 67 years old and don't appreciate the old-fart comment but since I am more handsome than you, I'll forgive it. Unfortunately, the insurance industry is just another money grabbing scam operation like everything else in our country today. We used to simply take care of our customers, (Take care of your customer and you'll always have a customer). It's really that freakin simple but, now it's about company profit margins or stock prices if a public company. I really miss the personal relationship when my insurance agent represented one company and I am going to go back to that business model until it becomes obsolete like so many great products and services we used to have in this once great country.
