hi im 14 just starting my karting career I've got a 2nd and a 4th so far any tips on how to improve during the actual session as i find it hard

I got told to aim for a 47/48 ( adult cart cadet ) and got a 43.418

I love the fact, you allowed two drivers to pass you, waited for a collision and overtook them both 🤙🏼

I went there today and my first kart was No.3 and that went like a scalded rat, my friend was in 17 and his kart was absolutely gutless!

£100 Sheffield to London?? Minus travel expense for your return? AND If you have to pay the excess for any damage, including windscreen it`s an absolute joke, and unless you are very lucky you will do a screen/tyre at some point which wipes out your last 5+ jobs? yea forget that

I deliver cars and things too but I get paid £2000 a trip ;)

I used to do this in the 1980s delivering and collecting lease cars for a company called Bowyers in London. A lot of the drivers were out of work actors. I used to use the trade plates for lifts or bunk the train and could make around £70 a day back then. Not sure its progressed money wise much since then.

Kart 13 today felt like it only had half of an accelerator pedal today. 15 went like a stabbed rat so did 24 and 7. Still obviously not had a cycle of checks through the team garage yet as there was lots of variability in karts. I drove all of the above karts so can say from personal experience. Day before racing the same karts at Bradford the ones at Sheffield are deffo slower at the moment. Heavyweights today doing 1:01 and change with the better performing karts. Lightweights only hitting 0:58. All BIKC racers.

Seems alot of hassle planning and long hours traveling for not alot of money when the company making millions they makeing a mugg out of you best of getting a delivery job instead I wouldn't even think about doing that 😡

Had the pleasure of being the very first non staff to run this track on speed 4, just after reopening. Really really enjoyable, very fast, and the first 2 corners are great. I was at the track the other week and was chatting with the general manager there, and they ended up changing the minimum time then, so anything under 20 seconds should count now. My unofficial "official" lap time is a 19.3, and as a heavyweight, I'm quite glad to be ahead some of the lightweight fellas. Great stuff!! 😎

Nice lap times. Shorter tracks can be tricky. I finally cracked 18 seconds on our track yesterday. It felt soooo fast, but we didn't use camera's this time.

I wish they had screens on regular electric kart sessions, would probably help for public sessions too showing people yellow flags on the screen. Also grats on getting a lap record that no one can beat 🤣

hello pal, gutted i didn't catch you here! but glad you enjoyed the track and karts.. i had a feeling you would enjoy the karts. Also where to use the boost is something i feel like i haven't fully settled on yet after a thousand laps😂😂🙈🙈 but most use it coming is 3 seconds up the ramp, 2 seconds down i would say.
