Do you have any tips on how to make the pump prime easier or consistently. I’m having trouble having it to prime this year. It worked like a charm last year.
@HeritageFarmsTexas6 күн бұрын
Hello, I posted another video a while back where I showed how I do it. Basically submerge hose with water, fill pump housing with water, open filter vent, then turn on. Good luck.

What you have is a limit switch/ sensor problem. There should be a reset button; cycle and/ or test the sensor on the closing side. the system is sencing the closed position thats why it does not move. This system is affordable, you must conduct weekly maintenance by cleaning the track, making adjustments to the chain and sensors as needed. As you operate it and it moves back and forth foreign objects and general movement will cause misadjustments which must be corrected...
@HeritageFarmsTexas14 күн бұрын
Turned out it was a loose sensor wire.

I have several of the wavian cans for our vehicles and longterm fuel storage, but I’ve been considering these due to price just to continue adding to my fuel stores. Do these build pressure and swell with a lot of heat? I have an air conditioned shop but if these need to be vented while stored that’s not good for the shop due to fumes. The metal ones keep it locked tight with no venting required.
@HeritageFarmsTexas16 күн бұрын
I haven’t seen any swelling, but I do keep them in the shade. I’m betting metal is better.

I recently started following your channel and i am interested in growing pecan trees. I had ordered a pecan tree (bareroot) and a few weeks ago i had to cut part of it down as it was dead and sprouts came out. I am wondering if i can grow it out and maybe use the pecan nuts to use for the rootstock. (Btw I had to cut below the graft). I'd appreciate any insight. Thanks in advance

hello all. my cozy sliding gate opener stopped responding to my remote(the silver 4 button fob). i bought and installed in 2018 from amazon - 6 years that i enjoyed much. No problems until now, July 2024. i removed the top case cover exposing the green board and pressed the open button on the remote several times before it responded - the little red light from the green board blinked. but then it took several attempts again for it to respond to close. has anyone had a similar problem?

does the water go directly into the pump unfiltered and then from the pump into a filter. isnt it bad to expose the pump to the dirt?
@HeritageFarmsTexas28 күн бұрын
Hello. Yes the pool water goes into the pump and then through a filter to clean it. This is exactly the same as your pool equipment. For a pool, Water is pulled from bottom drain(dirty) or skimmers (dirty) through the pump to the filter which removes dirt /trash before returning to the pool.
