The rain pattern have changed or the rain has almost stopped. No satisfactory rain anymore. Or if it happens, it pours savagely. The rivers had paleo channels all along it's course that includes Gurugram also. Hence, when it rains, the drainage system collapses. There is little to no outlet for that rainy water. Strange, Authorities minting money in taxes and levies but little done to increase or reform the drainage capacity. All that dirty waters comes straight into rural areas of Delhi Najafgarh jheel area and inundates it savagely. The wealth of Gurugram makes suffer of Najafgarh Dehat i.e. rural area villages. Their lands are destroyed and crops too. We need a lot of reforms, before we could claim at par with the West. That's a reality, we need to understand. And it's not only Gurugram, that is the rea😢lity of the entire nation. Almost every City has the same issue. Municipalities are all along ridden with corruption and inefficiency. No drainage clearance, or only cosmetic, desilting the nalahs only on paper. Lack of sanitation staff, no interest of States to increase the efficiency of Municipalities. Everybody comes to power to make money. We need to understand unless and until, we create a robust efficient framwork of reformed guidelines to be followed strictly, little would change and common people like you and me will continue to suffer.
