At 9:40, I agree, but Trimpe's hulk was more normal and heroic looking than Jack Kirby's. I loved Kirby's art, but the hulk was my favorite super hero, and Kirby drew him as an ugly creature who looked like Frankenstein's monster.

Two points: I get that Titano grew to giant-size and acquired X-Ray vision but how does a Chimp become a Gorilla? Bit far-fetched I've always thought. Also, if gorillas on covers sell more comics how come Grodd was not featured on the covers of his first 3 Flash comic appearances? Answer me that!

As i have stated before now that Marvel Comics has been taken over by Disney and become the Marvel Comics and Marvel Cinematic Universe they should be able to do something better than this.

In my opinion, the cape in comics was just a way of conveying motion. I cannot draw the wind, but I quickly sketch a window, and then take some time to sketch out some draperies, and you will quickly 'see' the wind. In a single comic panel, the cape can indicate if the hero is accelerating in any direction, or even twisting in place, as they punch or throw an item/enemy.

If I was forced at gunpoint to name my favourite comicbook cover of all time, it would be Weird Science #9. Not one millimetre of it could be improved. And the most incredible thing? It was Wood's first ever cover for EC (as I believe you pointed out). Thanks for what you do - looking forward to more Woody stuff from this channel!

That issue where Spidey beat Juggy by trapping him in cement is still my favorite, also when the Webhead kicked the crap outta FireLord all over New York City, they did mess up Hobgoblin and never made him great again going as far as to make him a Super Hero, total garbage treatment for a character that was more interesting than the Green Goblin

I loathed sins past and I havent bought a spiderman since One More Day. If I ever see Quesada I will likely deck him. He ruined Spidey because he was miserable and single, and is notorious for hating relationships. What makes Spidey so egregious is that the marriage to MJ was carefully plotted and timed to happen in the newspaper strip same time as the comic, and even had a "real marriage" held at Shea stadium, telecast in NY, and the priest was Stan Lee himself. A major milestone in pop culture, in Spidey lore..all undone because he cant find a good relationship

As an avid Spider-Man collector, seeing all these variants got me laughing cause I have most of them and even to this day these comics are still popping off more than they should mainly because of the gimmick cover lol
