The scratching sound of the zoom ring does not really inspire confidence. 😅 It would be interesting to see how a 36mm tube looks on a hunting rifle.

One piece of advice : when I fill my PCP rifle to 220BAR the temperature rises to about 30DegC - when the pump stops (at 220BAR) the fan keeps running (presumably to cool the compressor down) until the temperature drops back down to ambient temperature (eg. 19DegC) - at ambient temperature the fan stops automatically and the red screen returns to green. I only open the vent after the compressor has returned to ambient temperature. Also, the WULF manual shows the air filter mounted at the PCP end of the hose during fill (I don't know if that matters).

THE shortcoming is on the parallax wheel. a 9x scope can be used to aim 300m targets easily. but the parallax wheel can not turn to 200m,250m, and 300m very well. who will use this scope to aim for a target of less than 5m?

Finally got myself a GRS Bifrost stock for my Bergara Premier 300 PRC. Not happy at all. I had to inlet for the bottom metal and then noticed that the fore end was warped. It was easy to get them to respond to an email when I was still shopping, but now that I have a problem, they don’t want to talk to me. Terrible customer service.

I got my first pcp a couple weeks ago and have started to love longer range shooting . Shooting a .22 at 545fps I get 6 inch groups at 95 meters and I have to go down to 4x zoom and 6mil dots down on a sfp scope . Longest distance thing I've hit was frying pan at 150 meters

The raptor white hot is far easier to see .if it was crucial I would choose the raptor..very clear but the pulsar subtles the image a bit

I purchased one of these recently but I think it may be defective. When I switch to photo mode from video mode, the screen is much darker particularly in low light situations. I wouldn't think the screen would change at all between the 2 modes. Do I have a defective item, or is there a setting that I need to tweak. I think it worked for a minute, but after switching back and forth between video and photo mode, the screen went dark again. I'd appreciated some insight. Thanks..

I am told this one can be zeroed but I canot find how to do it in the literature provided and whe I concacts Wulf they initially said take oout the top three screws and than that you turned the ring below the drum cover. Mine does not turn. Can you zero this scope and if so how do you do it?

I guess PRS is done in the UK?? I know they have very strict firearms laws especially for civilians. The LEO's or <constables< donm't carry guns. :) Don't know if it's changed in 2024. :) I know htey do <hunt<....they make some of the best shotguns and sniper PRS rifles in the world...yet their gun laws would make you think nothing's allowed ove there. :) More strict than even Canada. Maybe the only place where the LEO's don't carry sidearms...unless they are UK SWAT??

I think the 25cal is the sweet spot for impact,range, noise, choices of ammo, and effective of cross wind. I can tune down to backyard but still use 25 in spring for rating im a fraid of pass through. Although i still like my 22cal but the last 5 pellet rifles were 25cal the last one semiautomatic. I am a lefry so my choices are limited for hunting.

Hi. Older person here. Good video! I have to have the dioptre screwed out as well, and on the Pard I use. I hate shooting with eye glasses. This all adds up to an optical mess? The most important thing about parallax is in night vision mode with a black light, you are expecting the day sight (glass and multi coatings) to focus IR (invisible to the human eye but not to the add on camera). So in daylight you might get away with it It but IR you won't as you are looking at what a sensitive camera sees on a screen? IR will focus to an entirely different focal plane and if you have to screw with the dioptre, makes the stack of optics worse. So get your day scope set with the right dioptre (for your eyes), sharp reticule. Get your add on dioptre adjusted to the screen, it's a little TV in your scope very close to your eye, sharp image of the menu or any screen info you can see, ignore the image which may be out of focus for multiple reasons. Then the focus on the add on ... adjust that to get a sharp reticule. Now you are done, never touch them again and use the parallax adjustment on the scope for target focus, with IR you will have to screw it in a bit and any distance markings on the bell won't be correct as you are focusing invisible IR wavelengths? If you switch from IR to day modes, use the scope parallax to adjust focus, not the addon adjustments which are nothing to do with that?

That cleared up a few issues. Is it absolute critical that the front clip-on is absolutely aligned with the day scope in terms of zero retention? You’re obviously not going to mount it at 90 degrees, but if it’s out just a hair, will that matter? And, to solve the perceived loss of zero, would just not using a reticle on the clip-on solve that issue?

Just bought one of these scopes pre owned absolutely fantastic scope’s . The zero stop is so easy to set and the build quality is second to none . Would definitely recommend to anyone although they seem very hard to find and optic warehouse don’t seem to have any at the moment. I’m now looking for another for my Red Wolf quality scope 👍
