Please explain how the titanium fights germs. I'm skeptical. 🤔🤔🤔
@OutdoorArtistry
@OutdoorArtistry 28 күн бұрын
@@skiba789 Well! Titanium fights germs in a few interesting ways. When it's exposed to light, it can release particles that kill bacteria and viruses. Plus, its surface can be made to physically break down bacteria. It can also release tiny particles that prevent bacteria from growing. This makes titanium a great choice for camping tools, helping to keep them cleaner and more hygienic in the outdoors.

Those quick knife "sharpeners" are a scam and a half! Lots of videos here on KZfaq showing how they absolutely ruin an edge. No respectable outdoorsman would even think of recommending these.
@OutdoorArtistry
@OutdoorArtistry Ай бұрын
@@-_.._._--_.-.-_-_-_-...-.- Thank you for sharing your perspective. I understand the concerns about quick knife sharpeners, as they can sometimes cause damage if not used properly. However, some people find them convenient for quick touch-ups in the field. For serious sharpening, traditional methods like whetstones are indeed superior and preferred by many outdoors enthusiasts. It’s always good to consider different tools and techniques based on specific needs and circumstances.

The Flash-Torch is a survival item I've had my eye on for a good while now, but can't think of a reason ta ask for it without either getting confused looks or being dismissed altogether (I'm not that old to be honest, only 19 {though if ya saw me IRL you'll be forgiven for thinkin I'm somewhere in my late 20s too early 30s}, but sense I live in a somewhat natural disaster prone area of the USA, it wouldn't hurt too have them just in case, right?); but, anyways, thank you very much for uploading this video doc, much appreciated here. =) Edit: The reason why I had my eye on it is cause of it's ability to start fires and melt through materials; if I ever run out of fire starter flint or really need ta get through somethin, bingo. =)

Thanks so much for your thoughtful comment! It’s great to hear that you found the video helpful. Living in a disaster-prone area, having versatile tools like the Flash-Torch makes a lot of sense. Your insight into its fire-starting and material-melting capabilities is spot-on. Stay prepared, and feel free to share any more thoughts or questions!

@@OutdoorArtistry Will do doc, will do. =) The disasters we mostly face here are Hurricanes and the biggest one we've went through (as far as I remember) is Hurricane Sandy, but the Canadian Wild Fires were not that long ago so preparing for that too wouldn't hurt. Too be honest I do want ta prepare for as close too all possible disaster scenarios because, well, it's better ta be safe than sorry (if this is starting to sound like paranoia can you please tell me, I've been asking myself that for years now and have never been able ta figure it out), so getting gear like these will help out a lot. =) Sadly there's still the issue of my family not taking this seriously, so that's a problem. -_- But when I do finally get the freedom too start preparing for such scenarios, you better believe that I'm gonna be ready. }=) To put this part as simply as possible; having good body armor (which includes a gas mask), plenty of pouches & pockets & backpack to store useful material, a reusable source of food & water, a reliable means of transport and so on are on my prepping shopping like. =) And I will also admit that multi-tools have also been on my mind as well, being able to carry useful tools in a single area will be very much needed. =) Edit: I'm also glad that my comment made you quite happy. =) And no problem doc, no problem at all. =) Edit 2: Oh yeah, in my shopping list of survival items that I wanna get is some means to keep myself entertained; in a disaster scenario, the stress and worry of the whole thing can take quite the tole on your mental health and well being all together, especially if it becomes a long term problem, so being able ta take your mind off of it for even a little while will do wonders ta help ya survive; now this is just personal speculation but having something ta help ya stay entertain might help ya sleep better during the night which will allow you too stay focused better, improve memory and awareness, and just in general help ya not go insane. =)
