Many of those cars will have spent hours in queues to get there, ages finding somewhere to park and the occupants will just about have time for a quick cuppa before spending hours in queues going home. At least you and your boys enjoyed it Nick, perhaps national parks should be restricted to two wheeled transport only at weekends, that would solve the problem 👍

@@5dTraveller There was absolutely nowhere to park but the Abbey Tearooms made up for it with that scone. Sadly that was also the day when a man drowned in the river at Burnsall when he got into difficulties in the water.

I don't know the circumstances but even on a beautiful sunny day people can get themselves in trouble if they don't understand the dangers, happens regularly up here unfortunately

Me again I enjoyed the route till we got to Masham but having been out since 8:15am was ready for home by 3:15 pm when we left for home John and I once on the A1 in full cruise mode I was surprised how quickly I recovered got my second 💨 wind 💨 and arrived home safely at 5:15pm York rush hour 🥵 but had a fantastic day thanks to you all ❤

Always sad when a garage closes.😢 I bought both my bikes from Ecosse in Aberdeen. (Honda and Royal Enfield), they folded last year.

I get my MOT done at Leeds Motorcycle MOT Centre, which is just down the road from Dyrons on the opposite side. The lady ( Rosanna ) who owns and runs it is very good and friendly as well.

Sad news indeed. I remember in Portsmouth in the sixties there were 10 motorcycle businesses. One by one they all closed. Here we don't have any within 40 miles.

There are always a couple of police with guns just inside the entrance so definitely not a good idea to fly a drone anywhere near there !

I hope so, turning left at that junction is terrible, trying to look to your right for traffic whilst on that really short down hill slope is a real pain, you need a head that can turn like an owl's 😮.

I am not sure where you live slappy, but I liv÷in the states and follow all these guys. All they do is have rich coffee, cake, pastries, pasties, cream filled bread, soda and candy galore. And few are over weight. 😂it's amazing. But that black bird could start a weight management program. 😊

Thanks for a great video, the New Inn pub in Appletreewick was the first non smoking pub in Britain back in the 1970's. The landlord Jack Showers made the decision after a good friend of his died of lung cancer. He was a prickly character and refused to put lime in my mates pint of carlsberg, giving him a five minute lecture on why you should not ruin a perfectly good pint of lager.

Well, you had me Foxed at the beginning, but I soon settled into the route. It's looking like the A59 might be getting a new section of road where all the road working is going on 😊 Lemon Drizzle cake. This video has everything in it marvellous 👍
