Getting those trays off is a sinch. Beyond that, the upper control arms bolt is usually seized. My q5 has all sorts of leaks. I'm installing new spindles, upper and lower control arms, wheel bearings, brakes and saving the old arms to install poly bushings!

I just changed this part in about 3 hours I only had to remove EGR valve, and throttle body + a few cables to gain access. Wasn't as sooted up as the one in the video, so relieved to leave it at that.

Just bought an 2013 audi a4 this month. Pulled the pan off and noticed these exact lines leaking. Its in the shop today getting new lines. $1200 for parts and labor. Probably easy enough to diy if you can jack the car up level and do the transmission fluid checks. Note this seems to be a very common issue with the press fittings on many different brands of cars and often leaves you stranded.

How can we fix this problem

For those of you who are getting into this, you can do it much easier using a drill extractor. I screwed it in, lightly wiggled it with some plyers, and it came right out.

Also do a PPSR on the vehicle. I was about to buy a HiAce from this Afghan guy named Mohammad here in Adelaide and he claimed to not know what the VIN number was so we paid $10 to run a PPSR using the number plate (is only $2 with the VIN) and it came up as previously being a repairable write off. Some really dodgy stuff going on out there.
