I've seen fence installers using those to staple the pickets. They hold it at an angle and it's strong as a screw. Good to have.

I like stihl but the 180 is a made in China entry saw that has not kept up to the stihl reputation. I have a 260 & 360 , just awesome saws but for under $200 I didn't expect the 180 to be anything but a cheap , just in case you need it saw 🤣

Very handy and secure way to transport stuff. Thankyou Sir. I've purchased many sizes of those storage boxes. They are tough and well made. I always wondered, why are storage containers like these sized according to "liquid" amounts? 10 gallon, 15 gallon, 20 gallon... Who the heck ever puts, pours or stores liquid in them? It would be like sizing gas cans or gas tanks according to cubic inches. I'm gonna ask Jeeves and get to the bottom of this!!

Just like today’s gasoline it has synthetic oil has gotten a bad rap. The gas today is actually better and the octane is as good as ever except maybe in some places. The synthetic oil is fine but I do not recommend putting it in a new engine because the superior lubricating properties can keep the rings for wearing in. Be sure to use the right viscosity or you can run into problems with the variable cam timing and actuators and possibly other serious problems.

Common sense tells you to allow for a break in period on any new engine. But then again! My 2004 Nissan Maxima had 4 dealer oil changes when brand new at 3,000-mile intervals and at 12,000 Mobil 1 synthetic was then put in, and at the time of a new timing chain being installed at the dealer the mechanic noted that the engine was the cleanest he had ever worked on internally. The car has been dealer maintained with me bringing in my own Mobil 1 and Mobil 1 oil filter and the car now has almost 190k and runs like it did when new. I have every invoice for every service performed on it including the window sticker when purchased. How many people can claim that?

Hi Bruce This is definitely a heavy duty oil bath compressor but the quiet series oilless is much lighter so I'd recommend them too.

We use coon cuffs back in our neck of the woods. Works every time! Cat food and fish oil. Their paw gets trapped inside with a spring, and we put them down immediately to alleviate any suffering. Also use the tallow for candles, leather/tool maintenance and meat for consumption. If you don’t keep these guys in check, they will threaten the quail, turkey, grouse, population, and any eggs that high hopes, etc…

@place_desjardins3 күн бұрын
Not sure what the real implications of using synthetic oil with a brand new engine are. You would have to tear it apart and look at the pistons, piston rings and piston walls of the engine. The real reason for use of synthetic oil in internal combustion engines is that it sticks to metal parts so it isn't dry at initial start up. So, if your internal engine parts and surfaces are constantly lubricated, maybe your engine can't break in because the piston rings don't wear away to conform to a shape that creates a better seal in the piston chamber.
