I was at Dorridge junior school with Chris and remember him drumming. So sad to learn he’s passed.

Trop chouette ! C'est du bel ouvrage, très bien soigné. Du son de la glace jusqu'au son des cordes du piano et de la guitare, tout est merveilleusement orchestré et filmé. La musique est splendide Bravo Stanislas

One of the drummers who will always stick in my mind. I was only fortunate enough to ever see him once when I was 14when he played with NYJO in my hometown. He left a mark on me as a drummer that day forever. Someone who's brief encounter with lasted me a lifetime and to this day I can count as a trumpet inspiration to me. Great guy, fantastic musician. Still a tragic loss. Rest in rhythmical peace forever Chris.

If you want to hear Chris playing some straight ahead big band swinging drumming, check out the Pop Idol Big Band CD from a few years ago. Some great arrangements and some really fine drumming by Chris.

In the court of the crimson king is Michael Giles along with Pictures of a City and many others. Michael Giles left the spotlight shortly there after but he turned alot of drummers heads back in the day. I still listen to his stuff to this day and still am inspired. he never compromised his talent. Ya gotta respect that.
