Sukhumvit is a one of a road/district name in Thailand :) At first, they planed to film mv in Thailand but unfortunately they could not make it due to covid pandemic so they might inspire the title song from that. Btw I didn’t expect y’all to know ONF. They’re amazing!! I really love their music.

There is something about Popping that gives me this strange sense of melancholy and sad nostalgia. It's such an upbeat song but I feel this heartbreaking sadness especially during the key change. I don't know how to explain it lol

Joohoney (honey, not hooney) doesn't scream when he raps. That's a totally off the mark comment about his contribution to Monsta X. He's intense, for sure, but he also has stunning vocals! He and I.M are the best rap duo in KPop. He's written and produced some of Monsta X's biggest hits.

They do faster songs too but they didn't include many faster songs to this album. I think Aqua and Sunrise Yellow are the only ones on the faster side. But they have many faster songs in their previous albums. Pray, Falling Star, Flower Rock, Paralyzer, No Better Days, Theory of Happiness, Be Free, I Hope, Orange Days ect.

Hopefully you will do the deep dive for ONF and they are same company with Oh My Girl! They have amazing song!

Early in their debut years the group had a 8th member who had to leave for health reasons. Cupid is their most off style song. They are often called fairies and it's due to their ethereal concepts used repeately. But they have done different vibes. In Closer the group keeps drawing constellations with their dance positions. It's was originlly a ghospel song adapted to Kpop to have misticism as concept. The Banana Alergy Monkey is another weird song, basically a childish song, but it's a song by a sub-"once in a life"-unit (BANHANA). Much later they did 'Baby Shark BubbleFong & Friends', a promo song. Oh My Girl is popular in SKorea since their song Secret Garden but they became more known in and outside SKorea after their participation in the TV show Queendom (1) and their release of the song Nonstop, followed by Dolping and Dun Dun Dance. A second member, Jiho, left the group after the song Real Love.

Great review! I thought this EP was pretty solid. I definitely still prefer the first Zombie EP, but there are definitely some great moments on this release!
