He certainly wasn't afraid to shoot the ball. I think he definitely needs to work on his court vision. Once he decides he wants to score, he seems to have tunnel vision of only the rim. Do be a great superstar (which I know he has the potential to be), he needs to learn to set up his teammates for open/easier shots. Once he starts adding up those assists, there's no stopping him on the offensive end.

He has a just a slight american accent! Except this he speak perfectly, no gramma mistake!!! PERFECT!!!! i dont know his history, but i guess that cause both of his parents are italians, he spoke italian when he was a child!

Leonardo DaVinci his paternal grandfather was from Umbria. He of course played professionally there and has dual citizenship (U.S./Italy).

I am Italian, Kobe has a better pronunciation but D'Antoni has an AMAZING language grammar and padronance, which is way more difficult to achieve on an hard lang such as Italian

Riccardo Bocci that is to be expected. Kobe lived in Italy and went to school there from the age of six until he was thirteen when his father moved there to continue his professional basketball career. Children are at greater advantage of picking up native accents and fluency when they learn languages at a young age. D'Antoni, on the other hand, moved to Italy as a player when he was in his mid 20's and stayed on to coach there for a few seasons. Despite the fact that his paternal grandfather was from Umbria, he grew up in West Virginia and most likely had limited exposure to the language before moving to Italy as an adult.

seems like he's quite fluent in speaking Italiano and obviously he understands it, but he isn't pronouncing correctly or it's very Americanized.

@kakasanti Wow, this an old comment of mine, ha. From what I've heard of them on KZfaq they both seem to have a good understanding of what is said and they can both speak the fundamentals. I'd give Kobe a slight edge in that his accent is easier for me to understand.
