@user-nq4kl9ro3q4 ай бұрын
I know its a long shot but it seems the more i try to research into what blends of ingredients companies use for this stuff the mote i see people saying thay they are heavily secretive recipies. I wish there was an open source list of ingredients for people who dont have a chemistry degree like me. I understand people cant tell you proprietary formulas but if there was a list of ingredients with general descriptions and no specific ratios that woulf be so helpfull for what people like me are trying to do in their garages.

We would suggest opening up your search to raw material providers, they may be more willing to go over specifics. If you haven't seen them yet, look at these videos. They may provide some general knowledge for you on this search. kzfaq.info/get/bejne/oNKlrdmduMebdoE.htmlsi=7KJkv3ZoNUqjsJvM kzfaq.info/get/bejne/jbmFfdKWveCzeI0.htmlsi=dKb2ryAjm0Brv8hX

It’s vibration damping, not dampening. Dampening refers to making something moist.

What would be the bonding agent for TPU over Aluminum.

Unfortunately, this information is proprietary.

What release agent did you use?
@psiurethanesinc.5295 ай бұрын
We use a wax release agent.

You never said how? You just said over and over again that it’s durable and resists heat well.
@psiurethanesinc.5295 ай бұрын
Hey! Urethane can resist heat naturally. Other materials will soften in hot environments, whereas urethane will be affected much slower due to its heat resistance. Thanks for watching

What 3d printing Material are you printing with that allows you to create a mold and with stand the needed temps?
@psiurethanesinc.5296 ай бұрын
Unfortunately, what we use in-house is proprietary information. However, we can say that there are many materials that can withstand the needed temperature for processing.

Do you use your mill to work any of the urethane parts, or just for mold making?
@psiurethanesinc.5296 ай бұрын
We use the mill for both mold making and machining urethane.

I imagine you want to talk to sizable manufacturing set ups. Not interested in talking to artist types, are you? I want a casting compound that isn't as brittle as the polyester resin I have used. I'd like it to be dirty cheap too! Lol. I'm looking at gelatin casting.
