Beta52 then 421. Might also be a good combo, 421 in 52 out. I own both,might try this combo. If the d6 was less scooped I’d like it more. I like the beta91 52 combo but I’m sorta loving the beater sound of the 421. Maybe I’ll try a d112 out 421 in…

Hi Jesse, I built the Sun Fuzz and found it to be lacking in terms of star washers and things to secure jacks and such from movement. Not a bad kit, but I expected more. I, like yourself, have built quite a few devices, so that did surprise me. Unit does work though… so that’s always good. Thanks for the video!

I have a Cherry red 1966 Coronado II w/ the checker binding and a matching red headstock. And holy F are they great sounding guitars. It sounds to me what a fully hollow Firebird would sound like. The pickups sound like a mix between a P-90 and a Firebird pickup. When you have one of these things plugged straight into a Princeton Reverb on 4.5 - that’s living lol

They both sound good. I own both AC15c2 and Pathfinder 15 and they sound very different. AC15 is usable in basically any setting, but in my experience, the pathfinder falls apart as soon as you are adding the inbuilt gain. It just gets fizzy, harsh and farty. External speaker helps a bit, but essentially you will need a gain pedal if you want to play this cranked. For a light breakup sound and cleans it is a really good one.
@ItAllFeelsRightАй бұрын
I think the 8 inch speaker is the limiting factor in regards to the gain more so than the circuit... no?
@carlosa.sencion65169 күн бұрын
@@ItAllFeelsRightYes, plug the Pathfinder into a 212 with Greenbacks or any good speaker and it's a different story.

What I seemed to hear is that the tweed (whatever the internal differences). Held it together better at the point of break up, the blackie did fall apart at the volume setting you had assigned to the amps. That being said name your poison baby!
