Would I rather have it so, that rules and regulations like this wouldn't be necessary, yes of course. Unfortunately rules regarding the safety of schoolkids MUST be made according to what the situation is not to what you would the situation to be like.

My kids grew up with guns and knew how to use them and what they could do and how dangerous they could be and both kids are now almost 30 and just like the rest of my extended family, no one has ever shot anyone or shot themselves.

We understand this already. I feel like youre dodging the issue of why people dont want guns. Its not that they have a problem with them its that they have a problem with the death they are causing. What do you suggest they do to stop mass shootings? When it comes to the hierarchy of freedom, your freedom to own a weapon does not overpower everyones freedom to live. Would you not agree there are some people or households who own weapons that probably shouldn't? Do you understand the amount of lists and spying the government would have to do to stop a shooting preemptively every time? Their goal is to prevent mass casualties and unless you can provide that, your guns are going to keep diminishing. If you want swing voters to take your side you need to come up with a good reason otherwise you,re just further solidifying an opinion your audience already had. This is useless garbage pandering the popular opinion to get clout.

@@Jake-li7ih If you ever thought the constitution meant no restriction, you don't know our history. Regulation on guns is as old as the country itself to the point where in many cities, you had to turn over your weapons when visiting. And this wasn't considered a constitutional violation, this was normal. Having the right to own something doesn't mean a right to be unrestricted in how and where you use and carry them, and to pretend the constitution is on your side is just dishonesty and just a way to avoid justifying why you want a wild west that is statistically proven to do more harm than good.

@@KuariThunderclaw Key words. "when VISITING" The residents of the town were able to carry as they saw fit. The Sheriff's were just wary of strangers that they were unsure the intentions of. This wasn't a very common practice and yes it would be unconstitutional not only under the 2nd Amendment but also under the 4th Amendment

@@KuariThunderclaw If you read Madison, which, apparently you haven't then you should know that "arms" meant those firearms "common, and in use at the time". Also, most of those wild west infringements on firearms were in places not yet subject to the constitution, and those that did occur in states were in places where challenging those laws was, if not impossible, impracticable. Shall not be infringed is on of the most violated clauses in our constitution.

Sorry buddy, but you have no objective argument here. It's simply conservative ramblings that require ignorance of historical fact. Worse, you brought up Madison, whose writings on the second amendment EXPLICITLY always bring up militias and the one who literally introduced a gun control bill in the Virginia legislature when he was a senator there. So tell me again how he was anti-gun control?

Hey those goggles are good but ya gotta watch where the light gets through , your eyes can be identified . We have a whole database of people that thought they covered their bases . You don't want light from above shining directly into the goggles . Check the tape and you'll see what I mean , maybe put a piece of paper behind the glass when you do these interviews .
