Yeah they didn't perform at the one in 2005. Right before the game, there were five microphone stands on the court and everyone was crossing their fingers... but they just brought out some school choir to sing the anthem... slightly disappointed.

COME BACK NSYNC! They are the best boy band in the 90's! I grew up listening to their music, and idolizing Justin, Chris, JC, Lance, and Joey!

It was not the last one. They did one more in Chicago in 2005. I was there.

This was one of the most amazing moments of my life. It filled me with so much hope. I get teary eyed just watching it.

ok if you made this comment after like a christina aguilera performance of ssb i'd understand but i dont see what your main problem with this version is. so a well written patriotic song cant sound harmonically pleasing? i for one am very picky when it comes to arrangements and this screamed nothing but great harmony, a very subdued ORIGINAL melody (ESPECIALLY FOR POP), and clear articulation of the lyrics.

Jesus Christ!! Why can't I find a decent performance of our national anthem?! Every video I've looked at so far has people trying to sound so pretty. I'd like to be moved by the words and the original melody. I want be brought to tears by the glory that is the United States of America, not by these assclowns trying to be so GD cute and unique.

i totally agree. no offense but bsb was kind of a mess. there were moments it sounded pretty good but for the most part it was incohesive. too many runs out of place too. and things that theyre not at fault are than they dont have as good of a blend. i dont think they hae a TRUE bass like lance (kevin is a bass baritone i think)
