It's much easier using a very small flame on oxy-acet rig. Your flame is horrendously too large. If you are going to use Mapp you need a pencil type tip that will give you more control. Also applying aluminum flux will make everything better, even if your rod has flux.

So I have a 2021 SVL 65 With a HST pump that went bad. It took my dealer 3 weeks to diagnose the problem. My machine only has 480 hours and they are wanting to charge me $8K because it’s out of warranty. I’m fixing to call Kobota direct . I think it’s bullcrap, my machine hasn’t even hit its 500 hour maintenance package. I took it to the dealer at 250 hrs. I hope Kabota stands by their product.

Any word on a new SVL65 coming out in the near future?

nothing that I've heard. I think it will be a while. It already has the hybrid hydraulic system. I think they will collect money for a while. They don't really innovate quickly at all.

Also does the weight of the machine or the tracks have any impact/disruption to the holes and fractures the tines create?
@skidco11 күн бұрын
No especially as hard as the ground was. but it didn't close up any of the holes when the ground had moisture either.
@frangeech11 күн бұрын
Did you ever get the seedbox?
@skidco11 күн бұрын
No I did not. I cast seed and fertilizer out before hand to work it into the ground. It work pretty well. And that's how the manufacturer suggested to do it without the seed box.

Still running the AERA-vator on your mini skid? I'm thinking about picking up one for my machine.
@skidco11 күн бұрын
I don't have it anymore. I sold it when I got rid of my last mini skid. Business changed and we don't hardly need a mini skid anymore. But it would be nice to have one for the back of my tractor. I just haven't needed it specifically yet. And they are pretty pricey.

Yes. There is a little red tie bar under the front cover you have to pull off. It will disconnect the shut off valve.

Kinda depends on your area I guess, we grub/ pull a lot of mesquite and cedar and the I dig Texas “barracuda” does the job better than the intimidator in my opinion. The grub they incorporated into the design really helps with mesquite. Also 100% American made!

I’m having a very hard time picking between the 317G and the 65. I think you had both? Any input? The Deere is more expensive and I like the extras you get vs how basic a 65 is. But the super simplicity of the 65 has an appeal all to itself. I need to fit under 7’ doors so Taks are out sadly because I liked the TL8 R2 a lot. Anyway any advice or input is appreciated. The price difference is around 13k more for the Deere.
@skidco19 күн бұрын
Thats a hard decision. Yes I've had both. I do like the door. But the Deere has more power for pushing if that's important. The Deere may also pick up a little more.
@JTilesEverything19 күн бұрын
@@skidco thanks for the reply. I’m waiting until October to make my final decision. Since I don’t need the machine right now I’m hoping the 65 gets similar updates seen in the 75-3. September or October is when my dealer would know if such an update is happening. Yeah I need the smallest machine dimensionally that can lift the most and push the hardest. As my work is moving pallet material on my personal property. A skid of advantec is 3800lbs plus the forks. The 65 can move that…carefully same for the 317 but the extra 6-700lbs(with counter weights) and deeres over kill loader hydraulics make it more of a sure bet. But it cost what a 75-3 costs…why can’t someone make the perfect machine?!? Haha. Thanks again for the reply at least I have some time to think it over

I use spacers in all of my racks because i want the extra space when there is a blow-out instead of tube on tube. Good design only thing i will say though is you should have the inch and a half space on the first tube as well. If that one happens to CATO it will knock out the frame. I did the same thing with the first set of racks i built too. Awesome video bro

I know in the Drilling industry we use Bentonite pellets they come in a Bucket ..we use them to install deep deep wells ....they are coated with polymers so they wont hydrate and expand untill they hit the bottom of pond or lake ...you would be able evenly distribute them. And then once they settle on the bottom for a few minutes then they expand. No scum layer at all . Just a thought 🤔 or opinion trying to help good luck

I have the exact same mill. It was quite obvious that it does not have a return. You crank it down and crank it back up. Different than some mills, but a hand wheel makes sense here. I would hate just a lever.
