The dlog footage is ungraded. The image comes out looking flat but the format actually retains more information. You’re meant to apply a colour grade to the shot in post. A graded dlog shot has a lot more potential than ‘normal’.

I have several sony cameras so I should in slog3 all the time , I was just wondering why it didn't look grade , but now that I know you didn't grade it yet makes a lot of sense ! you should do a version where you compare it graded so we know the maximum capabilities ! I MEAN I GET WHAT IT WOULD LOOK LIKe but someone that doesn't understand log might not
