Interesting you point out Fox and Sky, labeling them as "far right", saying you're astonished on what mainstream media can get away with yet there are the likes of BBC, Guardian, Vice and CNN who literally get away with marginalizing, creating propaganda and hatred towards groups they dislike. Fox and Sky Australia are all but two networks amongst a plethora of alphabet soup networks that lean left. To think the US news outlet such as Fox is "far right" speaks really to what you've absorbed from other outlets telling you what to think on a particular subject matter. Maybe what you label as "far right" is just your misunderstanding of something you don't entirely understand or, at least, your non-American mind has a hard time grasping i.e. mainstream media American conservatism let alone conservatism in general (see: Roger Scruton for a European perspective on conservatism). Your thinking gave itself away when you said, and I quote "inadvertently marginalizes groups of people or causes hatred or vitriol." This truly is an answer that's verbatim from mouths of today's politically correct mob -- a mob with an ideology that wants people like you to say and to believe exactly what you just said. You're already seeing this have negative effects in niche sectors like stand-up comedy, tv/film, or wider sectors like business, education, publishing and social media.
