Your Future self is counting on you Bro… it’s time to get started and become driven. Later, you’ll thank yourself for it!

You don't have to grind. Just because other people have had to at certain points of their life doesn't mean you have to or that you are less for not having that mentality. It is super toxic. Sometimes we need to grind, sometimes you are on a lake with no wind or current and you have to paddle. But life isn't a lake, not everyone lives perpetually in a lake. You should aspire to live in the sea and use the wind and current to propel you. Paddling will only get you so far. And you don't even have to take that choice to paddel or to grind. When you gind yourself against a wall you will do it without even thinking about it, like all these people have. But if you are not you can instead make it easier for yourself, surround yourself with the right tool, the right people, the right approaches. You don't have to damage yourself with this farmer mentality, only thinking about the future, never actually enjoying things for what they are. David Goggins took action because he was against a wall, he jumped from lake to lake to paddle, from wall to wall, they say it's not motivation it's discipline but I strongly disagree. It's just when you grind in that videogame even when you don't want to if you've done that then you know there is an underlying motivation even if you don't like what you are doing right now. He had a lion that scared him and made him run like a motherfucker, just listen to what he says, his vocabulary, the way he talks about himself, about this lion that makes him run. If there is no lion in your life there is no reason for you to not find the path of least resistance and make things easier for yourself to grow and propel forward. Don't fall for this grind mindset, this I need to become a "man" whatever that means, wich I find sexist as fuck. There's nothing wrong with what guys like David have done but it's a dangerous advice even he knows this and says it it's not for everyone.

It's always the opening line that gets me. Yes, he was talking about his living conditions, but I believe he meant where he was in life, a bad spot constantly and never getting out

You might currently feel more or less comfortably numb. You might "wake up" from that numbness from time to time and are angry with yourself. Stay calm, don't work yourself up about it. Instead go to work on your goals. Simply, quietly, determined, freed for the moment from your emotional conditioning.

Theo Von is genuinely such a good guy. He’s so chill and down to earth and wow is he frickin hilarious with those off the cuff things he says. Also really liked the teen titans footage in here. Just finished watching the whole series a month ago and that episode was one of my favorites.

keep this on repeat even if you don't take action, maybe one day it will speak to me every day. I feel the energy now, sometimes it goes away. Atleast we get to experience this life in some way or form.

I remember watching this when it came out. Since then Ive successfully dropped from 245 lbs ( worked out prior a little bit was 255) to 190 and joined the army successfully completed basic training. The possibilities and paths I’ve opened up for myself are limitless, all because I stopped feeling sorry for myself.

Guys, any suggestions on what exactly I should grind? I'm so lost. Every time I get a little motivated it goes to waste because I spend it on something pointless and I stop being motivated because I'm not feeling rewarded. Pls help
