dac111982, I think you're right. If you look at the rear "diffuser" on the SL55 it is fake. People who take off limiters are really doing so at own risk. Just buy a car that isn't limited if u want to go fast. Reminds me of what happened to the original Audi TT's when they first came out. There was a recall to add spoilers because ppl were crashing them on the Autobhan due to the negative downforce created by the unique shape of the rear of the car.
