To each their own. As for me, I prefer Wayne's original old school version. The solos were more definitive for one thing. Miles was on his way to Bitches Brew with this one...and he never looked back.

Herbie, one of our founding fathers of Jazz Funk. Although I'm sure ideas came from a mixture of Brown, Hendrix, Sly, and other modern rock in those days.

Herbie Herbie he absolutely killed it (IMO). The way his solo developed and the tension he creates then of course Holland comes in and he smashed it. Sorry I forgot to mention they are all monsters 😅
