You forgot to mention that playing Colosseum also gives you easy access to the Johto starters and the Legendary beasts which are a pain to get otherwise

Copying this comment from your last video: I've been currently hunting for a Shiny Living Form Dex the past few years. Not just every Pokemon shiny, but every FORM shiny and every GENDER shiny. The caveat here is that I'm allowing the use of Event Distributions and Pokemon Go -> HOME transfers. Pokemon GO makes the shiny hunting process more fun. They are constantly cycling through limited time Events that offer different boosted shinies, which allows me to keep consistent with the shiny dex. Shiny hunting is much less tedious than in the main series games and it's also healthier for me since I'm getting in daily steps and Vitamin D. I only need to play 1 - 3 hours a week depending on the events which is a very realistic target that minimizes the detriment to other focuses in my life that would come from grinding Soft resetting. Also the shiny drops in recent Scarlet Violet Boosted Shiny Mass Outbreaks + GO events makes it seems like Pokemon Company is intentionally focusing on Shiny Living Form Dex hunters with their choices (eg. Pikachu that has multiple genders, Tatsugiri with multiple forms and some Pokemon with gender differences having permaboosted rates eg. Sneasel) I'm at around 370 living shiny forms out of 1323, with most of them coming from GO. GO has not only made the process fun, but also achievable longterm with consistent progression. I have absolute insane respect for anyone committing to a Shiny Living Dex in the mainseries games as that seems like a tedious nightmare. This is my current path and I wish you luck on yours! Note: I'm tracking my shinies through Austin John Plays Google Sheets Tracker which is incredibly efficient and helpful. I would recommend downloading it as it's a better way to seperate Living Shiny Dex/Living Shiny Form dex etc. and the Google Sheet can be easily updated when new Pokemon are released.

better choice is to just emulate these games on the pc and play at 10x speed and in some emulators it can be at 16x speed not to mention all the cheat codes for pokemon

Hey so just wanted to let you know June 29-august 3 there is an event in Pokémon go to get meltan shiny. I know go isn’t used for this but it’s the only way to get him shiny and you can send it up to let’s go instead of home to remove the pesky g symbol. It’s only available shiny for a few days a year so I’d get it now while you have the chance

The cute charm glitch always seemed cool to me until I finally got it set up a week ago. The amount of shinies I found before the first badge was ridiculous, but with how common they become it's almost boring.

In gens 1&2 the ghost and dragon types have a legendary quality to them, being weak to themselves and only having one line introduced in kanto and only one new johto pokemon of their respective types Giratina being a legendary ghost/dragon makes giratina come off as an especially important and fascinating Pokémon

not sure if this works or not... but I did some research on egg groups gyardos is water 2 and dragon so from there you can breed with an ekans which id dragon and field. and from there you can breed into the field egg groups which give you access to water 1, monster, flying, ect. and you can move shiny DV's around to a variety of pokemon. This is my plan to get a shiny swinub :D assuming it works

it was worth every penny.
