@@donnytheflow Yeah that’s my fav mic. It’s 3 completely different circuits so it’s truly 3 different mics. The F is forward for more pop type stuff like a Sony or Elam 251 ish, the N is Neutral but can compare to a u87, the G is Gentle like a u47. It doesn’t sound exactly like these mics but similar

🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷🇧🇷👏🏻 I think you should get real microphones instead of simulations or emulations. It's not just about the mic itself but the status it holds. Having a U87, a Telefunken, or a Manley in your setup speaks volumes. These are top-notch microphones. Emulations like Warm Audio can't match the quality and prestige of the real ones. Stick with the authentic gear!

I already have something like that.... If I had $1,000 right now to spend on mics I would get a matched pair of Roswell mini k67x's.... The ones with the transformer. It literally sounds like it could $1, 000 - $2,000.... It's good on pretty much anything.... I'm the only way I would say buy something more expensive, is for like a really special mic that you just fall in love with what it does....

Bro, I sold my rme, now I'll take either symphony or twin x, It is important for me that the converters are so that the vocals are of high quality, I hear that the symphony sounds cleaner in your test. which one did you keep for yourself?
@jacksp8de
@jacksp8de Ай бұрын
I would go with the Apogee because of their super low noise preamps but that’s only if I cared more about the A/D conversion than anything. Also you can bypass the preamps on the Apogee and you can’t on the Apollo twin. I sold the apogee and went all Apollo, with the Apollo X4 and Rack X6. I can bypass the preamps on the X6. I like Apollo because of the workflow, zero latency with autotune, and their vocal clean up plugin CVox is huge for me. I also think their preamps sound good. If I had the bread I would get an Apogee Symphony Mk2 SE and a Symphony desktop as a remote.

Bro I'm thinking of buying a condenser mic for my home studio...mics im considering are Austrian Audio OC18 , Lauten Audio La-320, Audio Technica At4050 which one should i buy tell me bro
@jacksp8de
@jacksp8de 2 ай бұрын
Those are different sounding mics but they are all good. It depends on your voice and the sound you’re going for. The la320 is a tube mic so it’s warmer but If it’s your only mic I’ll go with the OC18 since it’s more portable and sounds great. Never tried the AT4050. Whatever you choose use this link to get to zzounds and I will get a small piece www.zzounds.com/share--jack_spade_gearlist

How Do You Feel About The Neumann TLM 103 ? I Can Get It Under The 1K Price Tag Around $800 I Already Have A Tube Mic and In The Market For Plug and Play
@jacksp8de
@jacksp8de 2 ай бұрын
I had it, it's an OK mic, but it wasn't crazy good, but it depends on the sound of the voice. T-Pain uses it. The 102 sounds similar enough to it and is cheaper. I like sphere LX better at the same price range plus you get a TLM103 in it. Or you can step up to a TLM49 if you want to stay with Neumann and You'll see a much bigger difference.
