Was that supposed to look really terrible and skew off to the right? I dont watch American football so I don't know if there is a tactical advantage but it just looked like a badly done rabona

Could be NFL but I'm not sure if these rules apply. In the NFL I believe the ball has to be in the air at least either 5 or ten yards before hitting the ground. Also the opposing team has to actually touch the ball before it's actually recovered and the kicking team's ball (If it bounces off a player?)

no the ball just has to travel 10 yards for it to be considered live.

Allistar123 Okay got it, so touching only applies to punts for the receiving team, for it to be recovered by the punting team.

During punts, the ball can only be recovered by the receiving team, unless they touch or drop the ball then it can be recovered by the kicking team. During kickoffs, the ball can be recovered by either team, no matter who has touched it.

yea if you ever played professional Football like Toni Fritsch this is a piece of cake. I don't play american football but one time i used the rabona and it felt more or less the same except for the obvious difference in ball shape and bounce

Soccer players do this everyday... No amazed at all... Actually I find it very weird that NFL teams dont get retired soccer players as kickers for their teams, will do a way better job than the ones they have now...
