A day embedded in my mind! My Daughter, with her USN husband were stationed in Japan. My Son, a Navy Lt. Commander stationed in Va., USN, all I could think was my Son is going to War! I was sitting at an auto detailer, getting my truck done, I just wanted to go home, a terrible memory for our country.

Around 5PM that day I was at home in Columbus, Ohio. I heard the sound which I though was strange because planes were supposed to be grounded. I ran out back on our deck and saw the beautiful Air Force One with the fighter escort off each wing. It was an unforgettable moment in my life.

All due respect to pilot and Col. Tillman. He is definately a hero because he is a pilot, and on top of that he performed his duties on 911 impeccably. However his references to Bush Jr being a great president is questionable. Bush Jr did gain my respect during the 911 tradgedy simply because he was emotionally moved. But afterwards he reverted back to himself. Definately not a strong president just like his dad wasn't.

In this presentation you have implemented every device, point, technique, etc. into the talk itself. There’s only one thing I would have changed here: find a more discrete way to change your camera angles. For instance, a remote button on your drawing pen. Or maybe you could use a foot pedal (your feet were mostly hidden from view) or motion/position detector. Each time you bent over to change your camera view created an instant distraction. Thank you for reminding me of Virginia Satir. For me, the Satir Modes were the most memorable part of her work.

Think about what a catastrophe a couple of terrorists that penetrated our country did a that day. I’m sure the next one is gonna be much more horrible with our borders being unsecure with so many unknowns that have entered our country. The only thing I can say is God be with us.

This is America. September eleventh, two thousand one. Four planes hijacked First plane into the WTC Second plane into the WTC Third plane into the Pentagon Fourth plane into the ground at Shanksville. In a period of a couple hours the new rules of engagement were issued and, in the hearts and minds of the citizenry, responded to. A sneak attack. The first three battles lost. The final battle waged in the fuselage of flight ninety-three over Shanksville. A decisive victory. Never again will this type of attack be successful. Three months later Richard Reid aboard a domestic aircraft attempted to ignite a shoe bomb. Again, in the hearts & minds of our citizenry, Reid was neutralized with enough force to land the plane and deliver him into our system of justice. At a jury trial he was found guilty and sentenced to twenty years. Today he sits in jail. Eight years later terrorist bomber umar farouk in an attempt to ignite his underwear aboard a domestic aircraft was subdued with enough force to land the plane safely and deliver him to the authorities. Found guilty in a court of law he now sits in jail. Each in an American jail with hope that one day, rehabilitated , they will be free men. This is America.

I knew Col. Tillman when I was stationed at Andrews AFB. A really good officer and pilot. Great to see him in this video. Like me, he has white hair now instead of those dark locks we had when active duty. It was a pleasure to fly with him when he was a Major. I just read where Col. Tillman was promoted to BG by President Bush. Unfortunately due to politics he was not confirmed by the Senate. If Col. Tilman were confirmed as a BG, he would have been the only Air Force 1 primary pilot to have been promoted to BG. Many flag officers, IMHO get jealous of an officer who has such close contact to the President as AF-1 and Marine 1. I would be surprised if any of the former pilots in those positions got past full Colonel. Tillman would have been a great BG and a great leader, along with other former AF-1 Pilots.

On September 11th I was stationed at Hill Air Force Base in Utah. I remember waking up and we have a 3-hour time difference from where I'm from on the East Coast so it was a little bit later there but it was earlier in Utah. I'm all right woken up went out to my living room and my answering machine with a cassette tape was blinking continuously. At the time I hit the play button my wife at the time turn the TV on you saw the world trade center burning. While this was happening simultaneously I heard my mom panicky on the answering machine, along with saying the second plane hit. I also noticed that there was no air traffic above where we lived at because I did not live on base. I ended up going up to the base to see if I was needed it was told to go home they were setting up a rotational shift for us cuz we were security forces. I also remember at the same time being told to stand by. That bush may be flying to our base they just weren't sure. We didn't found out that he wasn't coming so I ended up going home cuz I wasn't needed. I took this opportunity to stock up with food in other necessities because of what just happened. Our gates were sand bagged up with the '60s with overlapping fields of fire. I remember that night with no air traffic in the air it was very eerie. But that we saw two f-117s fly right over my house. That was a very surreal site. I knew where they were going, cuz I got stuck with them for the next couple of days in a special hanger for them.
