I found one of these second-hand for less than half of new in 2024. Your review is one of the best I've found. Very thorough and good sense of humor. And dude, your guitar playing is AWESOME. I wish i could play that good, but I'm inspired to really work hard on it after listening to this.

This not a demo. U need to put backing tracks threw it. With vocals and electric guitar. Show people what it can do and sound like

Great review I like it so much. Sure if I had a chance to work with a great Eq system on the stage I would choose M88. But since I’m a singer songwriter who has to work with not the best sound system of a live music venue. I have to choose nd96. I’m already using nd767 I love the clarity of it but if I boost up the treble as much as I desire, then I’m facing with the feedback issues. That’s why I’ll go with its feedback resistant big brother nd96.

Dude….dumb. Regarding the trace acoustic…it sounds terrible because you have the pre-shape selected which is a mid cut boosting the bass and treble “AND YET” you then decide to cut more mids and boost more treble. Hints why everything sounded metallic. Maybe before you make video reviews, do at least a little bit of research prior. That way…people that actually want good information don’t think negatively about great equipment and/or realize you have no business speaking about gear. Lost all credibility with me. Sorry to be so negative, but that was just all bad.

its ok, it sounds kinda robotic. If you use it with double effect, it sounds like Strawberry Fields Beatles. I think its fun, especially if you want to loop vocals but its not something other people are going to like to hear you fiddle with.. itd have to be set up for something... i took 4 hours the one day and literrally set up my PA at home to configure this Pedal... And I wrote down my Pre-sets on paper... You gotta want that lol which is fine, i do because live sound is a crap shoot every different club.. so this thing can save the day with its batteries.. but you gotta prep it... i couldnt configure on the fly entire new settings like i could with a pedal board and amp... but the golden lining is you can control your vocals someplace they might not be good -- or you can take a cheap 150$ guitar and make it sound like a 2500$ guitar with the different EQ, make a high pass etc...

Can you connect a fs5u and assign it to stop the loop? And is there an option to stop it anytime in the middle of the loop or to press the fs5u and the loop will have to finish the whole loop?

the auto tune can make you sound like freddie mercury if you really smash into it with high level vocals... basically the more you punch, the more they kick in.. its cool for fun idk how good itd sound for a serious song you were worried about flubbing.. hes right if you dont learn to correct and listen yourself -- auto tune will box you out of learning to listen and correct your own ear... its better to just wake up every morning and howl out Scales in the shower than rely on this... literrally just sound of music crap Do Rei Me with AH ah AH -- 8 months of that -- youll have your own built in vocal correct ;)

The Barden allows much more dynamic range. Especially when using subtle finger picking or tapping. You can hear your fingerprints through the stings. But you have to know your tone knobs to appreciate.

I recommend these picks too. It took many years to find the right thumb pick. The Black Mountain is useful. This Bumblebee, though, is now my everyday thumb pick. I glue it about 10 degrees from straight. To keep it in place I use a small strip of Nexcare Absolute Waterproof Foam tape on the thumb nail. Now I can use fingerpicks too, Alaska Piks. Just want to play and play. That is the measure of a good product.

Nice selection of test riffs. Similar to what mine might be. I just got an HT DUAL DISTORTION PEDAL from eBay and must say i was a little disappointed , i had higher expectations for the crunch effect because i like the heavier stuff (Metallica , Megadeth , Anthrax) but it's a great pedal overall.
