How do I know if my child needs a special school? I guess maybe the fact she is not reaching the learning levels in class her peers are.

Yes, right. Thank you. I wondered what was going on. My daughter, ASD level 2 diagnosed at age 7, is 9yrs old. She exhibits more ASD traits now, than she did when she was 4. Much more stimming and withdrawal behaviour. Her speech is like that of a 6 or 7 yrs old, but her vocabulary is that of a 12 yrs old or more. However, when she was 3, her speech was advanced. The speech path said it was at the level of a 4.5 yr old. There have been other examples of developmental regression. I was so confused. Thank you for these vids

They are using our suseptability to social contagion as an excuse to sterilize us
@jennosyde7092 күн бұрын
The research that we have on autistic people shows that autistic people are as likely to less likely to be susceptible to social pressure and influences than allistic people. The myth that autistic people are being sterilized by being trans is especially stupid when you consider the fact that the majority of autistic people do not identify as trans, and a significant portion which do are nonbinary and do not necessarily desire medical transition.
@livenotbylies2 күн бұрын
@@jennosyde709 I don't think our tendency to fail to see the emperor's new clothes is actually at odds with our gullibility. It's complicated and both things can be true (and I think they obviously are, in this case) but, if you look at one way, maybe it's really the same effect. Missing parts of the shared hallucination and making too much of the shreds one does pick up are both forms of error in picking up "social reality." And, psychologically, we tend to be alienated and a bit desperate for inclusion, in general.
@jennosyde7092 күн бұрын
@@livenotbylies Researchers have examined the social contagion narrative, and research has continuously revealed that the evidence does not substantiate it. Being trans is, in fact, associated with substantially higher levels of inclusion and higher levels of bullying. Trans people often must forego social acceptance in order to be ourselves.

@@jennosyde709 and we tend to pick up the habit of pathologizing ourselves. We contort ourselves to try to fit in. We accept the projection of non-autistic discomfort. We try to take control.amd fix ourselves. We change ourselves. We fit ourselves in.

@@jennosyde709 before, it was eating disorders. Now it's this. It's all the same thing. Who can we be to sign up for a role, to have a place and belong in the non-autistic world?

Autism has been identified by Australian scientist as a allergic reaction to pollution that causes blockages in air ways that can cause stroke or brain damage. Autistic people seem to engage in repetitive behaviour because they become forgetful. I can had this though that brain scans would reveal autistic people use more of their brain only because they forget easier that their brain is overactive and because their brain is overactive they are mistaken as gifted and more knowledgeable than a smart person who does not need to think hard or make their brain over active.

Please don’t tell me they are giving this to kids. I’m coming off 3.75mg after six years. It made me 20kgs overweight and I became allergic to everything. I’ve withdrawn to 1.62, these are the withdrawals I have when I went from 2.0 to 1.62 over a month. Hives all over body, a shocking headache that never goes away, heart palpitations and occasional chest pain, fast pulse, tight jaw and teeth grinding, like I don’t know how to sit my teeth in my mouth anymore and they chatter a lot, I’m dizzy and feel nauseous, no appetite, 3 hours sleep, irritable and sensitive to noise, no energy and my brain isn’t working right - like I can’t think of words and put things in the wrong place etc. This stuff is horrific and shouldn’t be given to anyone let alone children. Give them a drop of CBD instead rather than setting them up for this horror.

You need to add B complex vitamin otherwise the fish oils DHA Omega-3 fatty acid doesn’t absorb, Or rather, it’s bio availability is so low it’s Inconsequential. As far as I’m aware, the two things you’re trying to do with fish oil is one build the Mylan sheath of the neurons and two Bring down overall inflammation of the body. Autistic. Kids usually have an issue with an underlining inflammation problem. They also tend to have an issue with the parasympathetic system.

You said the microbiome of children on the spectrum was not different. Then you said “because of diet children on the spectrum had a different microbiome” , so you contradicted yourself. But I do notice that kids on the spectrum usually don’t eat eggs which are high in choline and kids that are not on the spectrum do usually eat eggs . Adding eggs daily to the diet has improved my children’s moods, focus and cognition for the better.

This is really interesting. When my ex 24 weeker, who was born 14 years ago, exhibited many determiners of autism as a toddler... and still does.. He also had delayed speech, poor coordination (still does), and relied on hand signing and was in speech therapy until he was 5 because even though he had good understanding, he took a long time to meet early talking milestones. But whenever I questioned it with his peads during developmental assessments I was continually told 'thats just a microprem trait'. Considering my 10 year old daughter has since been diagnosed as Autistic, now I wonder.

Bilingual kids in general can fall a little bit behind their peers in primary school, but they pretty much always catch up again. Bilingualism is actually really good for the brain, and language learning is much easier as a child than as an adult. So don't discourage bilingualism in your kids if they have the opportunity to learn multiple languages.

It can be quite sedating. I've been taking it for years and I sleep 10 hours a night easily. So it should be taken at night. It will also increase appetite. But it does help my anxiety, and I have no problems with insomnia now, lol. I'm an adult with ASD.

Here are few things to try that some in our community have found helpful: * Stim/fidget toys * Weighted blankets * CBD oil * Playing a musical instrument - my favorite * Exercise
