The problem here is that the cars aren't equal. I get that the 4wd has more grip aswell as the rwd and the will finish faster. But I think the difference between the rwd and fwd is that big because the rwd has much more power. Also if you don't spin the wheels during acceleration of the FWD as much I assume you will get a cleaner result too. But the cars seem to be not very matched in statistics. I think it would make more sense to choose equal powerful cars in each category instead of comparing the most powerful in each category. So there is the human factor aswell as the stats factor. I think the only clean way to see what's the best would be to see an AI racing.

How do you do this in the actual game?

The Nissan in the thumbnail is one of my fav cars, and AMS 2 in VR is off the hook, I only got an i5 12600k and a 12gb 3060, With 32gb of ram and I gets an amazing VR experience using a Quest 2 and Virtual Desktop using the PCVR cable, I even got a cable the charges the Quest 2 while I play it, The VR will last all night, And with a decent fan the VR isn't an issue, I wish more Sim Racers used VR coz it would cause VR to improve faster, Coz VR compared to 2 years ago is a world apart, I am hooked with VR Sim Racing and AMS 2 does VR amazingly, Also Dirt Rally is another top VR title, VR is the only way I will Sim Race now, It would suck to have to use the TV again....... AMS 2 is amazing, And 6th of May IMSA, And Audi DTM and the R8, I can't wait for the 1..6 update....

Still the best physics But, don't know why, there is no custom tracks 😢 I ask for it in 2006! I played it last month and feel it as the most realistic physics, lot better than Assetto Corsa and iRacing

4yr old plays game, pointless crap

My V3 are set exactly like the asetek, short throttle travel, minimal very stiff brake pedal. I feel the only thing I would get out of these pedal is a nice USB cable that connect directly to my wheelbase.

The reason GT Legends cars behave differently is because they follow the modern FIA rules. Wich means the cars are using modern tire compounds and more importantly are reinforced with full steel cages. This leads to a drastically different, stiffer and gripper "modern vintage" feel, wich I do enjoy a lot as it is indeed faster. As you know P&G does the vintage thing to a T. rFActor is still amazing of course !

Whilst riding a real bike the horizon does NOT swing wildly up and down. This would make LFS unplayable for me.

I have a weird problem with this game. I just installed it for the first time and I get no audio at all. Correct audio device is selected in the settings and sound works in other games and in Windows. I've tried verifying the game data and reinstalling the game but it is still silent. Volume in Volume Mixer is at 100%.

This game was a blast back then probably even is today. Freeroam mode blows my mind, I remember there were countles "reallife" servers with police and all that. This mode would be so great to have 10 years ago
