Danica Patrick will forever be The Catalyst of The Jeff Gordon/Clint Bowyer Saga (Which Foreshadowed The Matt Kenseth/Joey Logano Saga 3 Years Later) because of The Contract between Stewart Haas Racing & Tommy Baldwin Racing on The 10 Car benefitting both teams where Danica ran 10 races while David Reutimann ran the rest of the season on her behalf to stay in the Top 35 in which guaranteed her a spot in the start she made.

Totally not Tomas Sheckter’s fault when Davey Hamilton went off on lap one in my opinion, Davey just lost control.

In 87, if not for an ignition wire getting caught under the valve cover when it was tightened down, he would have won 7 in a row, seeing as how he was dominating Atlanta before the ignition wire shorted out.

Thank you for posting this. For some reason the "official" posting skips roughly 40 laps in the middle. Was nice to be able to watch the whole thing. 👍

It was the same type of weather the year before...Baker and Waltrip and others fouled the plugs up. You see them covering the grills trying to get the oil temps up.
